“Where are we going?” She questioned him as they continued to walk through the palace's corridor for forever. “Nowhere” he answered nonchalantly without even looking at her. Soon, they were in the garden Avery hadn't seen before. Adrian's pace slowed down as they took a walk.
“I was in love” he whispered, almost inaudible. Avery thought she hallucinated until he continued “she left me on my wedding day” he murmured slowly as he seemed to have recalled all the painful memories of the past. He heaved a long sigh before continuing “I couldn't find her anywhere”
“But why did she leave?” Avery arched her brow as she turned and looked at Adrian's side face. “She just disappeared, without any reason”
