She stood outside behind a pillar not daring to go into the red zone again and noticed Adrian disappear into darkness, it felt like an eternity before he came back she was almost asleep by then but jerked up awake as she heard his footsteps return.
He was going back and she was ready to follow but he stopped in his tracks suddenly.
“How long are you going to follow me?” Adrian questioned as he looked behind him and found her sneaking around the pillar like a mouse.
“I…I wasn't following you” she stuttered as she let out an audible whisper.
“Then why are you so nervous woman?” He arched a brow as he inquired rendering her speechless.
She tried to think of an excuse but was too nervous to think of a good one. “I came to get water”
