The sunlight shone on her face as she opened her eyes, feeling excited for her first day of secondary school. She hoped she would get along well with her new classmates. After taking a refreshing bath, she put on her school uniform and gathered her books. Heading downstairs for breakfast, she greeted her aunt Anna, whom she was staying with. Luckily, her father arrived just in time. Layla and her father arrive at school in no time. They are directed to the principal's office, where the registration takes place.
