Aira's POV “SMACK” Tasha slapped me across my face. “You stupid b***h! Can't you get anything right” she yelled in anger, as she continued to hit me “I..I'm sorry, I promise this will never happen again” my body trembling as I protectively used my hand to cover my face from her attacks. “Tasha!” A voice yelled it was Luna Diana. “Why do you waste your time on a low life when the moon ceremony is about to begin?” Diana asked her calmly. “This b***h gave me the wrong drink,” Tasha yelled in frustration as she was about to raise her hand again to hit me. “TASHA!” The voice roared it was Alpha Liam Strom Diana's son and our future Alpha “What the f**k are you doing here, the elders are already waiting the moon ceremony is about to begin” he glared at her in anger as he held her hand to stop her from hitting me. He aggressively grabbed Tasha and left then Luna Diana turned to me “You, fifty thing you will scrub the floors for a week as punishment” she said as she looked at me I lowered my head “Yes Luna Diana” I said trembling from the beating Tasha gave me, and then she left. “Oh moon goddess why me?” I began to cry “When will this life of torment end? But Liam didn't even look my way he shifted back and was about to go before saying “see it that all my guests get drinks” and then he left “Well that was harsh” I murmured. The ceremony was finally over and I went to scrub the bathroom floors as punishment from the Luna “Just a few more hours Aira,” I said to myself as tired run down my face When I was done I took a shower and went to bed, then the next morning. “Finally! Today is my 18th birthday” I was filled with excitement as I was about to figure out who my mate was I quickly did my chores so I could go out and celebrate at the park as a gift to myself. On my way out I accidentally bumped into Tasha “Oh no, not today” I murmured in fear. “You stupid b***h can't you see where you're going” as she angrily raised her hand to hit me a strong hand grabbed her “MATE!” He roared Alpha Liam was my mate? With tears in my eyes and stood up and ran to my room, I cried and cried. “Oh moon goddess why me? I thought that when I turned 18 and found my mate things would change in my life for the better, why is fate so cruel?” I cried again. The door swung open “Aira are you okay?” My vision was still blurry from my tears and I looked up to see who it was my eyes widened in shock. “YOU!” I yelled in anger.
