To say I was fuming would be the understatement of the century!
I didn’t want to go out. I didn’t want to leave Catelyn alone – not because I didn’t trust her, but because I really enjoyed her company. She might barely be legal, but she had more spine and wit about her than most adults I’d been around. And hell, she put my arrogant ass in place time after time, and I liked how easy it was to talk to her about even the tough stuff. Sure, she was blunt, but she wasn’t mean. It was probably those clairvoyance abilities of hers that allowed her to read people so easily, but despite that, she didn’t sugarcoat things or say, whatever you wanted to hear. She said things the way she saw them, and I liked that about her.
