Chapter Two He left her where he’d found her at the black rocks, only this time, the land wasn’t as green and lush as he remembered. Surveying the newly harsh landscape caused him to bite his lip as he understood the extent of the damage he’d wrought. Though no malice had been intended, clearly he had miscalculated the devastation his actions would cause the world.
