Last Woman standing Fall Once upon a time, the room had been a summer camp for children, a place for fun and exploration. But all that had changed. Now, the room was empty except for derelict bunk beds covered with old wool blankets made grey by a thin layer of dust and cobwebs. Darkness shadowed everything except for the three women huddled in the corner farthest from the open door. Backlit by the glow of one naked sixty-watt bulb that swayed slightly in the breeze from a nearby open window, an observer could have been forgiven for thinking the women were friends.
