Alexa was still trying to make sense of the situation she was in. She was sitting between people she didn't recognize. Only Anna, and that was because Anna introduced herself. Alexa gulped, she didn't understand this situation. While remembering the incident she experienced last time, Alexa tried to hold herself. "I'm very interested in this business marriage," Brant said. Brant was a fat man who loved luxury items. He wore suits made by Giorgio Armani, a world-renowned designer, just to present the best version of himself in front of his business associates. John Fenedick cleared his throat, tightening his black suit. "My daughter, Jessica Moore, is my most precious girl." John's brown eyes looked at Alexa, and he then looked back at Brant. "I will give you 50% of Alpha Company if Jessica has a good and happy marriage. Your son, Jack, is he really reliable?" "Of course. At the age of thirty, Jack managed to win many tenders. He is good at business, you have nothing to lose." John raised one eyebrow. "Jack is good at business, will he also be good at marriage?" Brant's laughter exploded in the air. He looked at everyone gathered and corrected his sitting position before finally saying, "John, you know that marriage is flexible. Love can grow because they are used to being together. I can guarantee it. Jack... will not disappoint us all." After considering it for a few moments, John then looked at Alexa. Alexa gasped as everyone else looked at her as well. "My daughter, are you willing to marry Jack? You can run Alpha Company and Star Corporation together." Alexa was stunned. She mumbled in her heart. "What does this man say? I'm getting married? I'm getting married to run a business. This is absurd! Do they think I'm a slut?!" Alexa stood up and caught everyone's attention. She looked around and said something that finally made these people speechless in their seats. "I won't marry anyone!" No one spoke when Alexa finally left the room. An atmosphere of confusion filled the room, especially John, Jessica's father, who had no idea that Alexa was living in his daughter's body. John immediately ordered Anna to check on Jessica, and Anna ran after Alexa. "Ms. Moore!" Anna's voice behind didn't make Alexa sway. Alexa peeked behind her and realized that she was being followed. Instead of slowing down, Alexa ran so Anna couldn't catch up with her. They were running around in a building that Alexa had never been to before. "Ms. Moore!" "Don't do this! Stop chasing me!" Alexa arrived in front of the elevator. She frantically tried to press the button in front of the elevator. Meanwhile, Anna was still chasing her. Anna didn't want to be scolded, she still loved her job as the secretary of the Alpha Company CEO's daughter who gave her a big salary. "Ms. Moore!" "I'm not-" Before the words could be finished, the elevator doors opened without warning. Alexa's body leaning against the door staggered down as she lost her balance. "Noooooooo!" Lucky, someone inside the elevator moved quickly to catch Alexa's body before she fell and hit the hard elevator floor. "Ms. Moore!" The elevator doors closed automatically before Anna arrived. Meanwhile, Alexa and the man who saved her were still staring at each other in a very awkward atmosphere. The man looked at Alexa, then cleared his throat very loudly. That brought Alexa to her senses and she immediately pulled herself away from the man. It was a strange man, Alexa had never seen him before. "Are you okay?" the man asked. He looked well-dressed with a black suit over his white shirt and long tie. And Alexa nodded her head. "I'm fine." She looked ahead, at the number buttons in front of her. Biting her lip frantically, Alexa looked back at the man beside her and pointed at the elevator doors. "What floor is the exit on? How do I get out of this building? Why do they have so many floors?!" Alexa's panicked voice made the man raise one eyebrow. Unlike Alexa, the man displayed a calm demeanor, full of authority and very masculine. His face didn't show much expression, but Alexa could guess that the man in front of her was judging Alexa with his gaze. Alexa spoke up. "What are you doing? Why are you just standing there and looking at me? Are you judging me?" "Pardon me?" A sigh escaped Alexa. Alexa then pressed the elevator button and exited randomly. Curious, the man followed Alexa. But Alexa had already run away from him. Anna then appeared and shouted. "Mr. Keningston!" Jack Keningston turned around. "Sir, where did Miss Moore go?" Jack raised both eyebrows. He looked surprised, but also silly. He grinned and put his hands in his pockets. "Is she Jessica Moore? Whether she has amnesia or something, she couldn't have forgotten her own father's office, could she?" Anna scratched her neck awkwardly. She smiled shyly and said, "That... it looks like Ms. Moore is having a bit of trouble from hitting the door. She might have forgotten some things, but I'm not sure why she's acting so strange today." Jack chuckled, he felt intrigued by Alexa, or Jessica. He looked at Anna, then crossed his arms over his chest. One eyebrow rose. "Did she forget everything because she's going to be set up with me?" "I... don't know, sir." Not wanting to linger in the conversation, Anna politely bowed her head and ended the conversation. "Sorry, Mr. Keningston. I have to go after Miss Moore! I don't want to get fired, so I have to end this conversation. Goodbye, Mr. Keningston!" After seeing Anna leave, Jack shook his head in disbelief. He chuckled, then muttered, "I guess... I'm starting to like this situation." Meanwhile, Anna was still busy chasing after the woman she thought was Jessica Moore, to keep herself out of trouble. Anna kept running and running, which seemed better than receiving punishment from John Fenedick, Jessica Moore's father.
