CHAPTER NINETEEN( Mupo's deduction.)

"What are you talking about?" Wolani asked.     "Jenka and Jack are Black Mambas...It cannot be clearer." Mupo said.     "That's not possible, they were all killed a thousand years ago." Benga said. "What makes you so sure?"     "Well at first I thought you were a Taipan, but when you were circled by the guards, you could have jumped over them, but you didn't. So I thought maybe 'he's planning something else' but then they circled you three times and you didn't jump over them so I crossed that out."     "What if I just didn't want to jump? Huh?" Jackandi challenged him.     "A Taipan's first strategy is always to jump....always." he responded.     "Prove it!" Jackandi challenged again. Then Mupo picked up a spoon and tossed with force at Wolani. Wolani dodged the spoon by jumping over it.     "See." Mupo said," I caught her off guard and that was just with a spoon. But I could be wrong so I took the other tribes into consideration."     "Hey! Don't throw things at me!" Wolani exclaimed.     "Sorry...just needed to prove a point and a spoon was the least dangerous thing I could find lying around." Afterwards Benga,Nima and Wolani just sat quietly and watched the Cobra exercise his intellect." Anyway....so-"     "Well I am a Taipan, we both are." Jenka interrupted.     "So", Mupo continued. "I was sure were most likely to be Taipans. But at the speed you were moving at when fighting the guards and when you were fighting me doesn't adhere to that."     "I'm just fast." Jackandi said.     "True.... but if you were a Taipan you wouldn't have been moving that fast." Mupo then threw a spoons at Jackandi and Jenka. Jenka picked up a plate and blocked one, Jackandi picked up a knife and deflected the other. Mupo then smiled but the fascination in his face distracted from his cunning smile." Wow." He said in amusement. "Not only did you react fast, but you also had the speed to pick up items to deflect the attacks." The others sat there in awe. It was as if they started slowly realising that what Mupo was says was starting to make sense.     Jenka and Jackandi were unable to say anything. Mupo was waiting for them to speak, but they were silent, so he went on speaking. "Anyway if you weren't Taipans that would leave the other four tribes. So let's rule them out. You obviously can't be Pythons so lets skip that one."     "Why can't they be Pythons?" Wolani asked.     "Are you Kidding me?" He responded while laughing. "Look at them" he pointed towards them.     "There's no way in Ophidia that they'd be Pythons." He then pointed at Benga. "Now that...that is a Python." Wolani and Nima looked confused. "Have you guys never been to Python Mountains? Or atleast seen a Python up close?"     "I've never been there before, only Skalia, Viper Islands ,Taipan desert obviously and here." said Wolani.     "I've only been here and Viper Islands." Nima said.     "Well, I had the privilege of being able to go there when I was younger and the shortest Python I had ever seen was slightly above my current height. Even so they could be dwarf Pythons. But if they were they'd be quite muscular. These two look like they'd struggle fighting with a club and you're too smart to be Pythons, so that's been ruled out. But then again not everyone is a fighter so I'll give them a benefit of doubt."     "We're Taipans okay and if you don't want to believe us then that's your own fault." Jackandi intervened. Mupo still carried on talking.     "Now it is possible that you are a Cobra, but you are way too forgetful to be one. Cobras have no trouble focusing on anything. It actually bothers us when we forget about something. No offense but if you were Cobras you'd be considered retarded."     "Hey!" Jenka intervened this time.     "I'm just stating facts here."     "You do get distracted easily Jenka." Benga pointed out. "And you always forget whenever you want to get something."     "That's not true." She defended herself.     "Well if you were a Cobra you would have used tactic against those guards but you fought with your instincts. Now of course I haven't seen a Black Mamba fight, but from the stories I've read, Black Mambas were impulsive, fast, tiny, easily distracted and forgetful. So let's rule that one out too."     "Now that you mention it, I have noticed how they stop paying attention, even in a conversation." Nima said.     "We've been paying attention the whole time." Jackandi said.     "Can't be too sure about that." Mupo replied. "Now that leaves only one tribe. It's possible that you maybe vipers however, if you were, Jack would be a little less violent and Jenka would be a little bit bigger."     "That's not true, you can state what tribe someone is from by the way they behave." Jenka said.     "Yes but you can also state by the way they look and or fight. Benga is very large and strong, he's a Python. Wolani is very slim and nimble, she's a Taipan. Nima has more meat on her bones than both of you ladies and I'm assuming she's flexible, I haven't seen her fight but I'm sure she is. You two are small, agile and fast, thus making you black Mambas."     "We're not." Jenka said in frustration.     "Calm down, look your too small to be Pythons, too forgetful and distracted to be Cobras, to slim to be Vipers, yet not slim enough to be Taipans. You clearly fit the description of Black Mambas. Some questions still remain though, how many of you are there? And if they are why and how have you stayed in hiding for so long also how didn't the other Cobras figure-" Jackandi interrupted by hitting the table angrily. Everyone was silent and had there eyes fixed on him. He then sighed as the anger in his face turned to sadness.     "It's true."
