Not My Brother

The Chinedu family was a blessed one, although they don't have many children,there were very happy,there was Joel who is academically intelligent and love to play football and hanging out with friends,and there was Nora who is naturally a book_worm and likes to behave like an adult there did not even expect that they will have give birth to Nora because Joel was their last hope and they think that he was their only son, Joel was six years when they tested their mother to be pregnant and now eleven years have past, Joel was in his final year and Nora have just gain admission to a secondary school, which was naturally the same school, late at night when they were watching television Joel decide to talk to Nora about his school which Nora was going to attend. "Nora" "yes brother" Nora said, but seem to be interested in the movie. "I want you to know more about my school" "oh brother, how many things will you tell me about your school, it is large and beautiful with pink end white, and in front of the gate there are many roses there, and every classes has it own locker where they can keep their books and other stuffs, it is two on a sit and you told me that there is one girl called adama"....... "no, don't say that" Joel whisper to Nora, obviously not letting their parents to hear. "but why".......Nora said curiously their parents was beginning to notice them and they wonder what they are talking about. "ehm okay, goodnight" Joel said as he rushed to his room. their parents turn back to the television "hmm"Nora thought early in the morning,joel was still sleeping and Nora have to wake him up,this was a normal routine for Nora because Joel was a late sleeper,their parents have gone to their various work place,it was a weekend and Nora was preparing to go to school on Monday ,she wondered how well it will be,their parents did not want them to be alone at home so on weekend they usually go to their aunt house,at Andrew island,and their will leave some money for them on the TV set. As their were eating,Nora tried to bring a topic up. "Joel who is adama" "please stop pestering me,adama is the head girl of our school and I want you to be friendly with her,so that you can learn a lot of books from her,and I hope she can become friends with me too,ehm because we hardly talked but she is very brilliant. "okay,now I understand".......Nora said to him but Nora was still trying to figure something out,why Joel is always uncomfortable and doing as if he is shy whenever he talks about her. "and Joel being shy is something else"
