The Note

Corinn's hands were on her knee's and her breaths were coming out if huffs with sweat dripping from her face.
"Seriously how are you not dead? You really do this every day?" Exhausted her voice came out as a whisper.
"You are the one who asked to train with me." Jace lets Corinn train with me knowing she will get more than a good workout. Every morning I get up at 5 am and run 200 laps around the pack border, after I spar with Jace, Simon, or Koda. Simon has taking an interest in my daily training and says he wants to help me become the best the crown has ever seen, other than that I dont see much of him.
"Im going to shower and eat, then maybe die. See you later Kee" I watched as her defeated figure slowly walked away. Someone cleared their voice behind me, I turned to find a man I didn't know.
"Miss Blake I am Brett, my wife Marcy patched up your uniform for you." He said with a smile holding the neatly folded uniform out to me.
"Why did it take a week?" I mind linked Kade's friend, he ran a hand through his short black hair.
"Kade said you needed time to heal properly, note is in the right upper leg pocket"
"Well thank you very much and tell Marcy thank you for me as well." I gave him a smile and returned to my room, I cant let people see us together to often or we will be watched.
The second my door close I pulled the folded note out.

Meet me half a mile into the Woods, by the bush with red leaves.

I crumpled the note and carefully lit it with my lighter and dropped it in the toilet leaving behind only tiny wet ashes, I changed into my newly repaired uniform and grabbed the canvas. As quickly as I could with out being seen I slipped into the Woods, sprinting to our new meeting spot. I found Kade perched up in a tree, he jumped me down and we walked to his cabin together.
"Well." I asked closing the door behind us.
"Nice to see you too sister" He said with a smile, I just stared at him with an unreadable expression. "Right the point I see"
"Well you are the one that said it was important." I pointed out.
"I spoke with father." Me eyes lit up and a small smile made its way to my face. "He will come Saturday night, he is very anxious to meet you. But he wanted me to tell you a few things first and if you still want to see him he will tell you the rest then."

Holy flipping s**t, my birth father is a demon............
"Well that explains alot"
"Shut it." I told my snarky ass wolf, she just gave me a wolfy grin and licked her paws.
"So were half demon and half werewolf?" I was shocked over the news Kade had given me.
"Exactly which explains our double fangs, why we need the feel of blood when we get a strong emotion and our extra heightened senses." My brother calmly explained.
My mind was racing but it still felt like something is missing. Demons were told to be ruthless evil creatures, always taking and hurting others to get what they want. I feel lost.
"Father will tell you the rest if you still wish to meet him."
"Yes. I have so many questions only he can answer." Koda pulled me into a hug.
"Ew didnt you shower before you came?" His nose scrunched up.
"Your note said and I quote "right away"" He seemed to be smelling me again.
"Who were you with, I smell many people on you but one in particular has peeked my wolfs interest." His eyes were flashing white, his wolf wanting to come out.
"Just my friends and the people I train with, why?"
"Never mind." There goes brother not wanting to share again, I thought to myself.
"Anyway they are throwing a big ball for the princes return Sunday and I have to go so I promised Corinn I would go dress shopping with her. Since I get to meet our father Saturday and I have to see my parents off tonight that only give me one day to find a stupid dress so I should go."
We walked back to the border together, he was asking about Corinn a lot. We were about to say good bye when I remembered the gift I brought him.
"Oh I almost forgot, I have something for you!" I pulled the canvas out and handed it to him.
"Did you draw this? Since the last time I saw you?" His eyes held an emotion I couldn't put my finger on.
"No, actually I drew about a year ago. I used to see you in my dreams but after I met you I started seeing a different man" I said, his eyes still locked on the drawing.
"Do you not like it?" My voice was quiet.
"This is amazing, I have been painting you since I was a boy even though I didn't know what you looked like. Bring your drawing of the new man on Saturday please, you should go now." He hugged me good bye and I snuck back to the castle.

"Miss Blake." A soft voice called out to me, I turned to find the voice.
"Yes Luna, how may I help you?" I bared my neck to my Queen.
"Come join me for a walk in the garden, I wish to speak with you?"
"Yes Luna."
