Its been about a week and a half since I was dropped in the forest, an interesting week at that. I ran into many more of those weird rogues and killed them all, but now Im just outside the castle border.
Sitting in a tall tree drawing the beautiful castle I will soon be living in, I didn't want to be the first to arrive because then they would pay just a little to much attention to me. I dont really know how long I sat here but another army applicant finally arrived so I wont be the first, I gathered my belongings and swiftly jumped down from my tree.
Making my way to the border I took note of how the men stiffened when I approached them.
"State your name and business at the castle." A scruffy looking man said carefully eyeing me, while his partner pulled out a list of names. Most likely all who were supposed to be arriving for army training.
"Keelin Blake, Lycan army applicant." Not liking how I maintained eye contact he let out a small growl, the smaller man next to him simply put a hand on his shoulder and nodded.
"Very well then miss Blake, through the gates and swing a right. You will find the training grounds, a man named Koda will be waiting who will show you to your quarters." I nodded my head in response and made my way to the gate, a very large man pushed it open not saying a word to me.
"Well hi to you too" My words came out snarky but the man just ignored me and motioned for me to keep walking. Whats up with these guys?
I made my way to the training grounds to find a tall dark haired man looking through a file that said my name, as he herd me approach he snapped the file shut and inspected me.
"Im Koda, you must be Keelin Blake" His hand shot out to grasp mine, with a big smile he shook mine.
"Yeah, you are the friendliest person Ive spoken to in a while"
"Oh about that, people around here can be pretty serious most of the time. But just ignore them for the most part, lets get you to your room!"
He spoke as we made our ways through the halls so a small wing that had the warrior symbol above the door.
"This is the warrior wing, you will be staying here, the wing is set up somewhat like a college dorm. There are many rooms, new recruits share rooms with their squad which was previously determined by Army head Jace." I mentally eye rolled at his name. "As you rank up the rooms get better, there are 6 bathrooms again much like a college, each has multiple shower, toilets, ect. Jonah has already arrived and is in your room, you will also have Corinn, and Luis if they make it in time. Here is your schedule for the following 5 days it also has a small map of the castle on the back, any questions?"
My eyes quickly scan over the schedule and map.
"What are these areas with a red line?"
"Those would be the off limits section of the castle. The royal wings, kitchen, living space, and training area." I went to speak but he answered my question before I could ask. "The green is this wing, kitchen, living area, training area, and officer offices you may need. Yellow is the common areas library, living spaces, main entrances, field. The blue is the rest of the pack, you may go anywhere on the pack grounds you desire except the red areas. The purple is the thrown room, Alpha, Luna, and Beta offices and halls used for parties and banquets and last but not least the guest rooms"
"Gotcha" My words came out mindlessly the castle is split one large section is red, one large section green and yellow is basically down the center. These is many purple areas but I wont be going to them unless summoned by a lead.
"Well come find me if you need anything, we will see you in 5 days for your intake ceremony. I advise you train your ass off until then, Jace may have selected you but the King or Luna my dismiss you if they are not pleased."
"Okay thank you see ya around" I said with a wave and walked into my room to meet one of my new roommates.
