"Sit" He demanded, and I obeyed.
"Now Miss Blake, I would like to know what happened in that forest" Alpha Grey questioned, leaning on his desk so he could tower over me. Probably thinking I find him intimidating, ha right.
"I do not remember much sir." I lied. He paused listening to my heart, I have become a damn good liar so this should be easy.
"Then tell me what you do remember" He sighed and took a seat in his regal looking office chair, his blue eyes looking into my green ones with hope that his son may be alive.
"LIE!" my wolf demanded, well at least shes awake now.
"First I remembering running in after Marissa, she was being attacked my a beast. I drew my sword and stabbed it through the top of its head. After it was down I told Marissa to run, something grabbed me from the back and it was in and out from there. I have bits and pieces of memories of fighting off more beasts then when I was tired I climbed up a tree to rest. The last was falling then waking up next to the border with a bag of snacks and fresh clothes." I held up the paper bag containing my ruined uniform and an apple Kade gave me, knowing I would be questioned.
"I see, do you recall who helped you"

"What did the beast's look like?"
"Like wolves but they were faster, the whites of their eyes were black, and their blood was dark and thick." He simply nodded his head.
"Do you understand what Dr. Leah told you was found in your blood?"
"Botulinum toxin, I do not know much about it just that it is dangerous." I answered honestly.
"Yes, it happens to be the deadliest toxin on the planet. You should not be alive, I do not understand how or why but it seems the moon goddess was watching over you. I need you to pledge your loyalty to the crown."
"But Alpha I have already done that" I was a bit confused by this.
"You have but I need you to do it again in a private ceremony for a small group of trusted wolves and the Oracle. This time the blade will be enchanted and if you are lying you will die, I do not trust how you are alive and it is needed to gain my trust. Refuse and you shall spend your days in a cell, pass and you shall be promoted to 'Stealth First Rank'."
My eyes went wide, either he really trusts me or he thinks I will die. Stealth First Rank is a huge deal, its told the crown has not appointed one in over a hundred years because no one has been good or worthy enough.
"Well?" Alpha Grey eyes me suspiciously.
"I accept" A large smile spreading on my face. I will no longer take orders from anyone aside from the King, Queen, Beta, and Gamma. Meaning I can slip in and out of the Dark Wood unnoticed.

Soon the "small" group was sitting in the office as well consisting of. Alpha, Luna, Beta, Gamma, Future Beta Jace, Future Gamma Koda the Oracle and my parents. The price should be here but he is still off looking for his mate.
The Oracle Mrs. Maisy enchanted the blade and handed it to the king, she looked like she was close to four hundred with her white hair and wrinkly skin. Her blind eyes seemed to be glued to me, I couldn't help but wonder what she was thinking.
"Repeat after me, I Keelin Blake pledge my loyalty to the crown and all under its rule." The King used his alpha tone.

I repeated his words again.
"If I fail I will go down fighting until my last breath."
I repeated and he handed me the knife and placed the royal crowns on his desk, everyone in the room watched me carefully. I took the blade to my right palm and sliced into the flesh, holding my hand above the King and Queens crowns I let my blood drip onto the shining gold and silver.
Everyone stayed silent until Mrs. Maisy curtly nodded her head, my parents let out a sigh of relief.
"Very well then Miss Blake, you are promoted and Jace will show you to your new room."

"No f*****g way!!!" She squealed her honey colored eyes glowing with excitement.
"Damn Corinn your going to burst my ear drums!" She had become my best friend and was over the moon about my promotion, I swear I could hear Marissa roll her eyes at my news from across the room.
"Marissa you could at least act happy she did save your life after all, although I don't understand why." Snarky.
Corinn has been one of the few people I have grown to care about and trust since I have been at the castle. She is beautiful with her long black braids flowing down her back, she had freckles over her light chocolate colored skin. She also happened to be someone who has proven to be utterly loyal to me, I consider her a sister.
Scoffing Marissa just left the TV room while Corinn glared daggers at her back, if looks could kill.
"Seriously why the hell did you save the b***h?"
"I don't know, maybe I just wanted an excuse to go into the forest. Plus it worked out in my favor!" Corinn rolled her eyes and started flipping through the channels, I've been debating on telling her what happened and my wolf believes she will take the secrete to her grave.
