It had only been a short time ago; Wendy gave Kelly good advice about Dave, Kelly’s boyfriend. Now Wendy could use some advice herself. Since meeting John, her relationship with Scott has suffered. Wendy has even considered flipping a coin. Heads it is John…tails Scott. She would not do that, but it is tempting.
John invited her to dinner. He told her he had something to ask her. He certainly got Wendy’s imagination curious. Would he ask her to marry him? She hopes not. She has not known him long enough. Still, Wendy would be thrilled by the proposal. If he pops the question, she decides to tell him she is flattered but needs more time.
John picks her up for their date. Wendy chooses to wear a conservative dress, but as usual, one that left no doubt about her
