Life After Death

Life becomes worthwhile when you are on the brink of death. Life becomes worthless when you neglect it. Why does a person only see life's worth when it's already the end? Why does regret arise when it's already on its edge? It's because humans tend to see the beauty of life even when it is not. I was just a normal school girl until my world stopped when I was stuck in an accident, an incident I never wished to happen, nor I planned to happen. I was a passerby, a pedestrian that had just got hit by a random motorcyclist and right there and then my life flashed back in my mind. The worthless life I had become so worthwhile when I was at the brink of death. It was the very last time I uttered how I love to live my life in a different way, how I uttered of giving importance to it, how I badly wanted to get up and take a different direction. I was given a chance, a one in a million chance, to live a second life, a life that is far different from what I have. This is where my life after death begins.
