Prologue: The beginning...
In the middle of a storm, during an early October night, a beautiful baby girl with jet black hair was born. She had the scent of a wolf and the aura of something completely different... Her parents could easily tell that she was blessed by the moon goddess. In what way they weren't sure. Both parents had a single child from their previous marriages, ages 12 and 10. Anyways, that baby girl was Gabriellah Amara Murphy. After a few months, Gabi started exhibiting some strange abilities,... her father James began looking for answers. Her mother, Claire, did everything she could to both manage and hide her daughter's gifts from everyone including her. By the time she reached age four her abilities went from moving things with her mind to actually seeing individual plants growing. When she turned five her father left to find more information about his daughter's abnormal and increasing powers. Claire and the children moved to a new town after divorcing James due to his long time away and her increasing mistrust in his faithfulness she broke the bond and vowed to never have a mate again...
Claire had her family living as humans, but they were technically rogues. The older children, well teenagers were unhappy about the move, but eventually came to accept the fact that their life was changed for better or worse. Christian, Claire's 17 year old son, was uninterested in adjusting or coping with the change. So he embraced the human life and became distant while hiding in his room playing video games. While James's 15 year old daughter, Nessaline, decided that rebellion was the only way for her. A new boyfriend every month, and sneaking out to smoke with friends in the middle of the night. Nessa was mentally disabled and needed constant supervision but unfortunately Claire could not keep up with her. Soon Gabi started another new school, the third time this school year alone. She was in kindergarten, her life had just changed dramatically and now she was in a new town with new people in the middle of the school year, and she now had the challenge of making new friends. Let the journey begin...
