The ground then shook hard and a chilling wind swept through the abyss. As the ground shook it began to crack and a powerful being of unimaginable strength began to rise from the depths. The cult cheered, their eyes filled with madness, believing they had finally achieved their goal of raising a powerful entity that would soon end the world.
Emby finally woke up from what she thought was just a terrible nightmare after her piercing alarm went off. Today Emby had a thought to go to the library and do a deep dive into the town's archives; hoping to find something that would help her figure out what she was seeing. Emby got up and did her hurling morning routine. She had her tea and pastries, showered and got dressed to make way to the library. After reading article after article she started to delve deeper into the ruinous secrets of Fright Wood, she began to uncover a sinister truth luring just beneath the surface.
The townsfolk were not just skeptical. They were hiding something much more malefic and Skylar's kidnapping was just the tip of the iceberg. After reading about similar disappearances over the years in the town Emby decided to follow her gut and follow the trail that was left behind by the mysterious cult.
Emby left the library and began walking around the cemetery that Skylar and the others were taken from. While using her intuition and sight she began to walk and eventually found herself standing at the edge of a dense forest on the outskirts of town. The air was thick with an unnatural chill, and the trees seemed to whisper sinister secrets as she ventured further into the darkness.
Suddenly, she stumbled upon a hidden clearing, where a flickering fire cast eerie shadows on the surrounding trees. In the center of the clearing stood a rundown cabin, its windows boarded up and the door hanging precariously on its hinges. Emby could sense the evil energy emanating from within, sending chills down her spine.
As she cautiously approached the cabin, Emby heard muffled cries coming from inside. With a deep breath, she pushed open the creaking door and stepped into the dimly lit interior. The sight that greeted her made her blood run cold. Without realizing it Emby had stepped into another vision of Skylars.
Skylar was nailed to the wall like Jesus on a cross; her eyes wide with fear as she gazed up at Emby with a mixture of relief and horror. Surrounding her were hooded figures, their faces obscured by shadows as they chanted in a language that sent shivers down Emby’s spine.
The frightened Emby could not believe what her eyes had just seen and she began to run out of the Cabin. Even though it may have been just a premonition Emby questioned whether or not it was the right thing to do by running and quickly decided to go back and help her friend. However when she returned to the cabin no one was there. Emby’s heart shattered into pieces and she could not understand what was going on. It was only a vision; Skylar was not actually there. Emby was only seeing what tortures Skylar was enduring while being captive.
But the visions did not stop.
