Chapter 28 Julius Feingold stopped his car a half mile from Maggie’s house. He got out of the car, then turned and whistled for his dog to jump out as well. He attached the leash to the little spaniel’s collar, then they started to walk down the street. As he started up the path to Maggie and Cam’s door, he was stopped by FBI agents and questioned. “I’m Dr. Julius Feingold,” he told them as he presented his identification. “Dr. Thomason and I meet several times a week to play a little bridge. We were colleagues at St. Katherine’s.” “I’m sorry, Doctor, but Dr. Thomason isn’t here at the moment. Perhaps you should come back at another time.” “Is something wrong here?” he asked. “Margaret never had security here before.” “This is a temporary situation, we hope, sir,” the agent told him.
