Chapter 4
“Well, Cameron, how are you feeling today?”
Once again, Cam was strapped to the bed. She tried again to test the bindings but like before, they wouldn’t budge. Cam looked up into the nurse’s face.
“Do you know where you are today?” Joyce asked as she took Cam’s blood pressure.
“The same as yesterday,” Cam mumbled petulantly.
“And where is that?” Joyce asked.
“The nut house,” Cam said, looking away from her.
“Well, that’s a positive step. Now, if we let you up, you’ll have to behave yourself and not throw things or hit people. Can you do that?”
Cam merely nodded. As before, Joyce called on the walkie-talkie and Joseph soon entered the room. He started to unbuckle the bindings.
“And you will have something to eat today. We can’t let this go on. Will you eat?” Joyce asked.
