The Plan

***Blade's Point of View***  "Mom. Dad. Allison and I headed out for a girl's weekend." I call as I head to the door with my suitcase in tow. "Emily don't you think you are being to hasty?" My dad asks concerned. I smile my most convincing smile but I know he knows there's something else going on than just a get away from boy problems. "No, dad. I need time to get over this and there isn't a better way than a get away." He nods not wanting to push the matter further.  I say my last goodbyes and drive off heading to the address, Allison had given me. My pistol lying in between my thighs so that I'm prepared for an ambush. I pull up to discover it is only Allison waiting for me with her bags. The bags are only necessary to put on a show. Before I head out of town, I stop at Nico's house. I take a quick glance at Allison and she rolls her eyes. My sudden anger boils through and my fist lands against the side of her skull the force strong enough to knock her out. I breathe in deeply trying to get my temper back in control but the memory replays in my mind: " "You know if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have gotten the intel you needed on the maniac after you." Allison says. "What are you talking about?" "Oh, you still don't know do you? Well, that girl that kissed your precious Nico was a cheerleader hired by yours truly." She had the nerve to laugh at the thought. I captured her around her throat and nearly killed her."  She had fought back and I still don't know what made me stop from killing her last night. I had figured it was the fact that she was a major role in my plan and without her it wouldn't work. I grabbed a pair of handcuffs and cuffed her to the car door, in case she gets funny ideas about running off.  I looked through the garage window to make sure that no one was home before I went to the back door and picked the lock. I run up the stairs to Nico's room where I left him a note carefully placed on his desk. So that he would find it in time if I needed help. I quickly slipped out of the house and closed the door, smiling for the apology I had made about the lock. Before I stepped into my car I called Jakk and told him to get our strongest men together so that they could keep watch over Nico's house. I ended the call and got in my car. As we left town I called my parents to tell them we are leaving the city's boundaries, hoping that the psycho was tracking my phone. I put some music on since my passenger was very quiet.  *                                                                                        *                                                                                                   * We reached my parents' old hideout in the woods at sunset, we hurried getting everything unloaded so that everything is ready for when the guy pitches up. I hated not knowing anything about him except that he would sacrifice everything for revenge.  Allison stayed away from me most of the time only talking when she needed to know where something goes or if I asked if she had heard anything from the guy. She would answer immediately then remain silent. I was used to having people fear me but it felt wrong that an old friend does but I had to keep reminding myself that she was going to betray me.  "Can we go over the plan once more?" She asks silently. "Ok. Phase one was having you tell your boss that you earned my trust eventually and that we were escaping town to my parents old hideout. Phase two is we hope that he tracks my phone and when he arrives we ambush him." "Now that I hear the plan again do you think he'll fall for it?" She asks concern dripping on every word. "Well, I'm hoping he is so eager to get revenge that he wouldn't question why it was so easy to get me here, after you tried and failed before. No offence." "Some taken but I think I know what to say if he questions me. I will tell him I got an actress to kiss Nico and that caused a moment of weakness for you and I managed to use that to get you to go away with me. And it was your choice to come to a remote place because you didn't want to be surrounded by people." I nod liking the explanation. "Just remember you're going to have to shorten it to be believable but with as much detail as possible as not to come across as a lie." She nods.  "Would you like something to eat, I packed food." She nods and we head to the kitchen to grab a meal. "There's pain medication in the cupboard behind you. In case your head is killing you..." She smiles gratefully and grabs two pills out of the bottle and swallows them with a big gulp of water. "I'm sorry my temper got the best of me." My guilt creating a pit in my stomach. "Don't be I would have done the same if our situations were swopped and to think of it I would have killed you by now if you did it to me of course." She replies the last bit rather fast and I smile.  We finished our meal and headed to watch a movie to kill time. As the movie started we both let a yawn and before we knew it we fell asleep to the sound of the movie playing in the background...
