The Storm-Part Two

***Allison's Point of View*** I have tried all the ways to get Emily spend time alone with me but she wouldn't give in. I don't know if it was Nico or her internal warning alarms that was making her suspicious of me. One thing was for sure is that if I don't get her to trust me, both of us will end up dead.  My thoughts are interrupted by my phone's ringtone. It's him he wants an update I'm sure of that. I watch my phone as it continues to ring, contemplating whether I should pick it up or not. I finally let out a sigh and take a shaky breath before putting my calm mask on. "How is the plan getting along?" "Everything is going good, sir. I should be able to carry on." I lie. "Don't lie. I have spies and what they're telling me is different from your version." "I'll get her to trust me. It's just g...gonna take time." My voice breaks. "You have until the end of this week. If you fail, you die." The call ends and silence becomes loud. How am I supposed to do that? A plan starts forming. Nico was in the way. So if I get him out of the way maybe I can get to Emily... If I create a plan to separate them and convince her to leave town with me, then maybe just maybe I could win her trust... Or I could tell her some of the truth that a guy is after her and that we need to leave town before he gets to her so that I can protect her but then again, I can't tell her how I'll protect her. All I know for sure is, is that this guy's plan isn't working and so I would have to work with my own plan, if I want to capture her.  I also wanted to get revenge on the both of them. I start formulating my plan. I needed help if I wanted the plan to go smoothly. I make a quick call...  ***Blade's Point of View*** I woke up with a huge smile this morning. Today was mine and Nico's one month anniversary and I had the whole day planned out. I started getting everything ready last night so all I have to do is get finished and meet him by our favourite café at ten. It wasn't until I caught myself singing along to every love song that I discovered I was really excited.  I said good morning and good bye in one breath to my parents too excited to have breakfast. My phone rings and I nearly shriek at caller ID. "Good morning, my rebel. I just arrived at the café I cant wait to see what you have planned. I hope you don't mind I got you a little something." "Good morning, my hero. I'm on my way there now and didn't I say not to get me anything. You are a present in itself." "Little cheesy there hon." "Sorry, I'm not sorry." I giggle into the phone. It has me doing a double take though. I have changed so much in the month I have been with him. I hardly order hits on families anymore and it terrifies me because I was doing it to help children escape.  I pull out of the drive way putting some music on to get rid of the sudden bad thoughts. I drive to the café as I turn into the street I see him. A smile that could light up New York plants itself onto my lips. Until I see it...  A girl pulls him into a kiss and I feel my heart sputter. Had I not broken my walls down for him? Hadn't I changed enough for him in this past month?  The anger in my veins starts boiling but the pain I'm feeling has my heart turning to ice. He broke my most important rule. He broke my trust. He had betrayed me in the worst possible way. I rev my engine and he turns to look at me just as I speed off. My eyesight turns blurry from the sudden tears I slow down before heading back to my house. When I pull in, I notice a car standing in our driveway. I quickly wipe off the last of my tears and place my carefully trained mask on. I smile walking into the house. "Hey mom. Hey dad." "Hey honey that was quick everything okay?" I smile and then I notice Allison standing in the dining room. "Hey Em. I came to ask if you wanted to go out for drinks." I smile coldly. "The name is Blade. And no thanks, I'm not up for it." Allison looks at me shocked and I notice that my parents' expressions match her. I sigh and walk to my room. I hear footsteps and I turn to see Allison. "You have guy problems don't you?" "I don't want to talk about it." I say my words icy cold. She smiles. "We were best friends at a stage, Em. I know you need to talk this through or it'll eat at you." Her tone of voice is so warm and I ignore the warnings. "Fine, I tell you what. I'll grab the alcohol downstairs and bring it up to my room and then we can discuss what happened." She gives me a small smile before she heads to the room I pointed to. I ran downstairs grabbing the alcohol and then running back upstairs to my room.  When I walk in she looks at the bottles shocked. "You brought Tequila and Vodka." I smiled slyly. "All the more to get drunk with." We laugh and we both take a sip of Tequila first and then start talking about what happened. I burst into tears unable to keep the front up any longer. My phone rings and I turn it off. How could he promise me the world and then stab me in the back.  It didn't take long for the alcohol to kick in and before we knew it we were both drunk. Allison and I laugh about anything and everything. Pretty soon though her façade falls and the drink shows her true side. She looks at me hatred burning in her eyes. "I've tried to get your trust for a month now. All just so that I could kill you for taking Nico." She says her words acidic. "Don't worry, dear. I knew you were up to something why do you think we're getting drunk in my house? I'm not as soft as I was when we were kids." Before she can do anything I have a knife to her throat. "I also know you're working for someone. And that if you don't have my trust by the end of the month you'll die. So I have a proposal. If you follow my plan and we manage to kill the guy, which sets you free from dying earlier than you are supposed too, then I'll keep you alive. As long as you leave me the f**k alone." She stares at me wide eyed. "So Nico wasn't the one to keep you away from me?" The mention of his name hurts me physically and emotionally. My dad had always said emotions didn't have a place on the battlefield but it's difficult when your opponent knows your weakness.  Allison uses my pain as a distraction and has me on my back. She starts throwing punches at me and I manage to block most of them. She picks the knife up and tries to stab me but I grab her wrist and twist it. The knife clutters to the floor and I flip us around. "You have a choice either you die or you don't." I see the moment her true fear sinks in. "Fine! I'll follow your plan." I smile and shake her hand before getting up. "If you try any funny business you'll end up dead before you can say no." She nods in understanding. I dust myself off before taking the bottles back downstairs. She follows quietly in my wake before asking me, "So what is your grand plan?" I smile mischievously...
