With these crimes she hereby given the punishment of being beheaded in front of the Imperial family and her family as well” - An unfamiliar voice coming from a man said. Even though I am quite dizzy from the continuous beating I got from the princess’ knights I can still understand what he said. My punishment is execution, I have given a punishment by the future sun of the empire even though there is no clear evidence. Can’t he clearly see that I am being framed?

Indeed he is blinded by that woman’s charms and fake tears. Ha! How pathetic this kingdom will be in his hands! He is so biased! I will not be surprised if this kingdom will fall into great despair.

I almost stumbled when suddenly the knight holding me dragged me. Dahan dahan kong inanggat ang tingin ko at awtomatikong dumako ang mata ko sa Imperial Family. I gave them a smile, a smile that I am sure they cannot forget. And before I bow my head once again, my eyes shifted to another man.

He is the brother of the crown prince, but we never spoke to each other. He has this black hair and red eyes. Those mesmerizing look. I can’t help but to bitterly smile. He is supposed to be a great ruler, but his talents is being neglected because his mother is a commoner.

“You are the rightful prince” - I mouthed, and I am sure that the stinky crown prince was able to read what I mouthed to his brother because I saw how his face turned sour like he was offended.

Well I am going to die anyway so I should say everything I want to say right? But before I could even really speak my thoughts everything just turned black.

“Hah! What the heck?!” - Bigla akong napabangon mula sa aking pagkakahiga at agad kong kinapa ang aking leeg. When I realized that it is still intact I can’t help but to heave a thankful sigh that all of that was a dre— no it is not a dream, it is a memory. It is part of the novel, that thing really happened however, Raeliana’s thoughts are clear to me now since the author did not give much importance to her until the side story was released.

Tsk. Why do I keep getting this crazy dreams? Is it because I am here in this cursed kingdom? Are those dreams supposed to remind me how cruel the male lead is and that I should not fall in love with him like the original novel?

Of course that’s a given that I will not fall in love with him. He is such a nasty undignified biased brute, he just got the looks.

However, in my dream awhile ago there is the black haired man whose eyes are colored red standing at the back of the Imperial family. Honestly he is more handsome than the crown prince and he looks cold yet I can feel this kingly presence. Like who is he? The author did not mention specifics about a guy that has a black hair and red eyes.

Or maybe she did but I wasn’t able to read it anymore because I already died? Damn! Thinking about all the things about this novel is making my head throb with pain again! Not to mention it’s still morning!

*knock*knock

“Milady, can I enter now?” - I heard Alice’s voice on the other side of the door. I composed myself first because she will surely notice when something is wrong with me, she is just like Nox. Madali silang makahalata and that’s why I really can’t hide anything from them.

“Come in Alice” - I said making my voice as lively as I can. The door opened and Alice entered wearing her usual maid uniform and she is currently holding towels.

“Milady,the Duke and the Duchess had given my thirty minutes to help you prepare for a breakfast with one of their acquaintances” - Alice said dahilan para agad akong mapa-alis ng aking kama at dumiretso agad ako sa banyo.

“Be careful milady!” - Alice exclaimed kasabay ng pagtakbo niya upang makasunod siya saakin sa loob ng banyo.

“Let’s hurry Alice!” - I exclaimed as I begin taking off my garments. Argh seriously! They could have informed me last night that a guest was coming so that I could have woke earlier!

I can’t help but to heave a deep sigh as me and Alice walk towards the dining table. I can’t believe that I was able to bathe and dress up neatly in just twenty-five minutes when I usually consume about forty-minutes.

“Oh here is my daughter finally!” - I heard my father said and my eyes almost went wide when I saw one of the famous Duke’s in the Empire. Duke Wisteria, I read in the book that he is a famous swordsman who lead quite a few battles together with his army into victory.

“Greetings Duke Wisteria, I beg your pardon for being a bit late” - I formally said and I bow my head as a sign of respect.

“Oh my! My daughter already know you!” - my mother exclaimed and I heard my father chuckled

“How did you know him?” - Nox asked through telepathy but I choose to ignore his questions. I’ll just answer that later.

“I’m honored that I am greeted and known by such a beautiful lady. Erina’s genes are really strong Leo, she got nothing from you except for her hair” - the Duke jokingly said which made me automatically raise my head and I am stunned to see my parents laughing so comfortably but what more surprised me is the fact that this Duke of Wisteria just called our parent’s names like it was nothing!

I want to ask questions since I do not have a single idea why and how they became close. Such thing was not mention in the novel! And it is also surprising because even our parent’s closest friends still call them with their titles.

But I am going to save those questions for later, now I better eat since I am already beginning to starve.

Naglakad na ako papalapit sa upuan na katabi ni Nox. Alice helped me to pull the seat, I sat down and she again helped me to push myself for my legs to enter the table.

“Hey Rae, why did you not answer my question? Magtatampo ako sige ka!” - Nox disturbed my mind once again but instead of being annoyed I just chuckled. He is again acting like a child.

“Later. I am starving Nox, it feels like I am going to die” - exaggerated kong saad and before I could even took a slice of the steak the kitchen maids prepared, Nox suddenly placed half of his steak.

Nagtataka akong tumingin saakanya and he did not even look at me. So I decided to ask him through telepathy.

“What is this for?”

“Eat it so you will not die because of starvation. I’m full anyways so better finish all of that” - he said which almost made my jaws drop. Seriously he is unbelievable!

Anyways, hindi nalang ako kumontra at nagsimula na akong kumain. I enjoyed every slice I eat and I can’t help but to smile how juicy the meat is. I can also taste the wine the chef put in it.

“So what is your name princess Wynknight?” - I heard the Duke suddenly asked which made me look at him. He is actually smiling, he is clearly anticipating for my answer.

“I am named by my parents as Eclipse Raeliana, however just call me Eclipse or Raeliana please don’t give me nicknames since my parents and brother are the only ones allowed to do that” - nakangiti kong saad and before I knew it the Duke started laughing like I’ve just said something funny. Well I am not actually joking, even though I am smiling what I said was serious.

I am about to take another slice of meat again inside my mouth but I automatically drop my fork because of what the duke suddenly said

“Say Leo, Erin, your daughter is actually suitable to be the Empress, why not let her meet the crown prince or let her be part of the selection?”

Mom, Dad and even Nox looked at me worriedly. Even the Duke of Wisteria was shocked for a minute.

“I’m sorry, I dropped my fork accidentally because I suddenly remembered that I should be studying at this hour” - I said, trying to make an excuse for my sudden behavior. The Duke must have bought it and so as my parents so they continued talking. But Nox did not.

“Don’t worry. I will not let that bastard get close you! Over my dead f*****g body!” - Nox exclaimed and I saw how he clenched his hands under the table. He is pissed

This is the Duke of Wisteria’s fault! Like we know he is close with our parents but he has no right to suggest that crap! And although I am suitable for the position of being an Empress I will not marry that scumbag! Ever!
