“I’ll greet them stay here” - Nox said and before I could even stop and tell him that I want to do that as well ay nakalabas na agad siya. I tried opening the door but it won’t. I think he just froze the handle for me not to go out.

“Luke, Ashton, Alice you can do your thing” - I heard him say to our three knights. I decided to focus my sight outside and what I suddenly saw made my jaw drop.

I saw Alice holding two swords that isn’t that long but they look very sharp, she dashed towards one of the assassins near my carriage and the assassin’s body dropped on the ground without his head. What made me jaw drop was actually how the head flew away from the body.

Pinagmasdan ko pa siyang mabuti and I can clearly see how serious she is right now. Hindi ko tuloy maiwasang isipin kung papano niya nagawang itayo sa orihinal na Eclipse Raeliana ang pagiging knight niya? Well she often kills assassins but she always do that secretly and that is because she has this cold and scary expression on her eyes.

And maybe she is freely showing that without bothering that I may be afraid of how she looks is because I too am wielding a sword and I also have the kind of expression whenever I am training despite my kind face.

Napatingin naman ako sa kabilang bintana and I also can’t help but to be shock how Alice brother, Aston is able to use fire magic like a professional. He even combined his magic with his sword! Okay! Even though I always see and have a chat with Ashton and sometimes I do have a spar with him I did not know that he can perfectly wield his magic!

He never informed me that! He just told me that he has an affinity with fire!

“Luke!” - I heard Ashton called his fellow knight and my eyes grew wide with arrows passed by the window. But it was no ordinary arrows! Those arrows are surrounded with water! Like what the heck?! I also did not know that Luke can do such thing?!

“Nox! Are you really sure that Luke and Ashton are just your right and left hand men?! They fight like they are part of the Empire’s Imperial Academy?!Even Alice can take down such enemies with his swords!”- I exclaimed and Nox did not even gave me a single answer, he just laughed.

Damn. I really still don’t know these characters too well. I thought that I already know Alice and her ability as a knight because of the novel, but I guess I am wrong.

Bakit ba kasi ganitong Fantasy Novel ang sinulat ng author na yun?! Argh these characters are also over powered that they can already go against with the powerful and talented Imperial Knights!

Ahhh! This story is making my head spin!

“Why are pouting Rae?” - tanong saakin ni Nox habang naka cross ang kanyang dalawang kamay sa kanyang dibdib.

It’s been a while since the knights together with my brother defeated those assassins and the sun is almost setting. But I still can’t get over with what happened! Specially the part when a head flew towards the window of the carriage where I am at! I was about to use my power that moment because I am worried that the head will break the damn glass. Luckily my brother used his wind magic to change the direction of that stupid head!

Alice’s strength makes me proud but also gives me chills! Even Ashton and Luke’s strength and power makes me worried about them! Especially that there are spies around us that reports our every move to the Emperor!

The Emperor may do something to covet them and I can’t let that happen! Like duh? Dadaan na muna sila saakin bako nila makuha sila Alice.

“Stop pouting Rae. Malapit ka maging pabo” - Nox playfully said which instantly made me shot a glare at him. Minsan iniisip ko kung kapatid ko nga ba ang isang to!

“Okay okay I am sorry. So tell me what’s your problem? Are you frightened of what happened a while ago?” - he asked and his last question made me roll my eyes. Me? Afraid? If I am the original character maybe I already fainted because of that stupid head and those blood but I am not.

The Emperor could have taken a liking to them!” - I exclaimed pero hindi ko masyadong nilakasan ang boses ko dahil baka may makarinig na di dapat makarinig.

However, instead of consoling me, he begins laughing like what I just was a joke. And because of that I can’t help but to glare at him once again.

It is just so funny that I can’t help but to laugh” - nakangiting saad ni Nox, pero makaraan ang haos dalawang segundo ay nawala din ang ngiting iyon at naging seryoso muli ang kanyang itsura. “Don not worry, Rae. Those mutts can’t make Luke and Ashton leave our kingdom. Ako, si Dad at si Mom ang makakalaban nila pag sinubukan nilang kunin sila” - he said and after he said those words ay muling sumilay ang ngiti sakanyang labi.

Hindi ko tuloy mapigilan ang mapailing dahil sa bilis ng pagpalit niya ng expresyon. It was unbelievable actually, I initially thought that he is a expressionless person since that’s what the novel described him. Even though he and Eclipse Raeliana are extremely close, he always kept his face straight and he seldom smiles.

But now I can clearly see that he is not expressionless. He has too many expressions that I also want to see.

“Fine. Anyways how’s mom and dad?” - I asked trying to change the topic.

“Well at first mom was shocked to suddenly see assassins standing on our way, even dad almost got out of the carriage to fight the assassins all by himself. Luckily I managed to freeze the door in time. Mom was worried that I will get hurt but I proved her wrong with my swordsmanship. “ - he said with this unfamiliar grin plastered on his face.

And I can’t help but to roll my eyes. It may sound like it was a simple answer to my question but it isn’t. Let me rephrase the last sentence he said

He means that, “Mom should not be worried because I am strong and amazing. I can even defeat those bastards without the help of our knights”

Seriously is he really my brother?
