GNO Turns Weird

Jess and I walked out of the school together to meet Zack and Austin at our cars. Zack and Austin were already standing behind Zacks jeep Jess wrapped her arms around Austin's neck who wrapped his arms around her waist. "This weekend will be weird without you" I said to Zack who was looking behind me towards the school I turned quick to see what he was looking at it was Lucas and Nathan coming towards us "Yeah, but we can meet up Sunday when I get back if you want?" he asked finally breaking his eye contact to me "Yeah, sure after I get back with my mom from visiting my grandmother" I replied giving him a smile. "Hey guys, what's up?" Lucas asked as he stopped with Nathan "Not too much" Austin replies "So, I know the girls have plans tonight, if you want to come hangout with Nathan and I you are more then welcome" Lucas asked Austin" I'd invite you too, but I know you're going out of town" he adds looking at Zack "Yeah, sure I got nothing else to do" Austin replies. "Great, we are meeting at my place" Lucas said giving him a smile. "Sorry, maybe next time" Zack said giving Lucas a small smile which actually surprised me, and obviously surprised Lucas too "Yeah, we can make plans for another night the girls have plans and have a guys night"Lucas replies returning the smile, Zack nods. "Well, we are going to go now, drive safe Zack, and have fun tonight girls, I'll text you tomorrow" Lucas said before walking away. I couldn't help but throw my arms around Zack catching him by surprise "Thank you for being nice, I will miss you so much this weekend, please text me" I said squeezing him in a hug "I will miss you too Sammy, I will text you and I will tell Blake you said hi" he replied returning the hug "Yes, please" I said finally letting him go. Jess and Austin give each other a kiss before we both walk to my car and head to my house.

Mom was already gone with dad for the weekend as always she had supper already made for us, she had chicken in the slow cooker, scallop potatoes, and mixed vegetables of corn, peas,carrots, and yellow beans already done up that just needed to be heated up. We ate, cleaned up there was a lot left over so we put the left over food in containers, in the fridge. We made our way downstairs to do homework for a bit before getting ready to go to the teen club. "You going to Luc's party tomorrow?" Jess asked playing with her pen "Yeah, you and Austin are going too I hope?" I asked "Yes, I figured he was going to keep asking til you gave in" she replied giving me smirk I rolled my eyes at her "Nah, he only had to ask once" she started laughing "wow, you're getting soft" I gave her a look "Jess, I'am not getting soft, I had nothing else to do tomorrow". She managed to stop laughing "I'm just joking,besides now I have someone to hangout with at the party"."You knew I was going to go anyway" I replied raising an eyebrow at her"Yeah, I suppose"she said giggling.

We started getting ready deciding what to wear always takes us the longest Jess borrowed a baby blue top that went over the shoulders that tied up the back, light blue jeans, with blue flats, she decided to rock the messy bun look. I went with a red halter top, black jeans with rips all up the top, red flats, and decided to leave my hair down, but had an elastic on my wrist just in case.

We landed at the club just after 7:30pm there was already a line up of people some we recognized from school, some we did not.  As we took our place in line my phone went off, Zack texted me

Hey, we made it safe and sound at our hotel close to Blakes apartment, we are going out for a late supper I'll text you again later

Hey, that's awesome! Have fun talk soon

The line moved quite fast we only waited close to 10 minutes. Once we got inside, it was open, there was a canteen for drinks, chips, popcorn, and hot dogs to the right with tables and chairs, the washrooms were to the left and straight ahead was a huge dance floor, the dj was on the second floor on a balcony over looking the dance floor, to the left of the dance floor there was a few booths along the wall, as well as to the right and emergency exit door. Jess and I decided to grab a bottle of water and sit at a booth on the left side of the dance floor for a few minutes before making our way to the dance floor to dance our asses off. I noticed a small blonde haired girl wearing a tight pink tank top,and white pants walking over to us it was the girl in two of my classes that I couldn't think of her name, we never talked or really made eye contact.  "Hey" she said leaning on our table "Names Anna, you're in some of my classes right?" she asked looking at me "Yeah, first and last I think" I said taking a drink of my water "Cool, first time here I didn't you guys last weekend?" she asked "Yeah, decided to check it out" Jess replies. Anna turns to the dance floor "Are you coming?" Jess and I shrug our shoulders and got up to follow her to the dance floor.

We dance for what seemed close to an hour, Jess and I make our way to the washroom Anna was still dancing away. I was washing my hands when the door opened Anna walked in "I figured you were in here" she said leaning on the sink next to me "There was actually something I wanted to ask you" she said turning around to fix her lipstick in the mirror "What's that?" I replied looking at Jess who was standing against the wall to my right "Who is that guy you are always with?" she asked looking down putting the cover back on her lipstick "Which one?" I asked not sure if she meant Lucas or Zack. "I know who Luc is I dated Nathan a bit last year" she said now looking at me I felt my breath shorten she was talking about Zack. "Is he single?" she asked giving me a dark look which made me feel like she was looking into my soul "Yeah why?" I managed to say " He's cute, and seems very sweet" she said giving me this creepy grin I was speechless "I don't think he's looking to date anyone right now" Jess said walking over to her which made her back up a bit "Well, it doesn't hurt to try" she said walking out of the washroom. Jess and I just stood there looking at each other for a few minutes "I got a weird vibe from her" I finally said putting my hair up in a low pony tail "Yeah, I got the same vibe, why is she all of a sudden interested in Zack?" Jess asked looking concerned "I don't know, I hope he doesn't actually go for it" I said looking at the floor "I can't see it, one she never talked to him before, two Zack never really had a girlfriend before, I don't think she's someone he would go for anyway" Jess said placing a hand on my shoulder making me feel better. "Let's get out of here" she adds walking towards the door.

We ended up leaving the club and going back to my place it was only 9:30pm my phone went off it was from Zack before I read it "Should I tell him about Anna?" I asked Jess who was grabbing her pyjamas from her over night bag to go change in my bathroom " No, I honestly think she was messing with you" she replies before closing the bathroom door. I let out a sigh and read the text

Hey, I'm back at the hotel now. How is the club?

Hey, wasn't all that great Jess and I are back at my place.

Oh really? Blake said Hi, and that you should come visit next time.

Yeah, so we are just going to watch one tree hill til we pass out. And yes next time I will.

Alright, night. I'll text you tomorrow.

Night.

I grabbed my pyjamas and went into the bathroom to change as Jess was now laying in my bed texting Austin. Once changed I went upstairs to grab us some water, I crawled into bed and pushed play to start an episode "I texted Austin to let him know we bailed early from the club" Jess said watching the tv "Oh, what did he have to say?" I asked. "He said that sucked, I never mentioned Anna, anyway the guys have been playing games on the x box all night, he's having a blast" Jess replied I smiled "That's good". I wasn't really paying attention to the episode I kept thinking about what if Anna actually did try to go after Zack I was worried.
