Dianne has been ignoring Chase all day. I know why, and it's good for me. If Chase keeps doing this to Dianne, then I will surely win. Hopefully, I could save Dianne's heart or lessen the pain sooner or later once she knows the truth. I feel like we are getting closer to the page.
"What are you doing?"
Tanong ko pagkalapit ko kay Dianne.
"I'm playing."
Sagot niya sabay subo ng cookies na nakapatong sa upuan niya. She's too focused on playing that she didn't even look at me whe she answered.
Napatingin ako sa kwintas na suot niya at muli nanaman akong napangiti.
"What?"
Dianne asked when she noticed I was looking.
"Anong tinitingnan mo diyan, huh?"
"The necklace,"
I answered.
"Bakit babawiin mo na?"
Biro niya. Mukhang good mood dahil sa kinakain niyang cookies.
