I don't know how I got home, but I did, and through the forest. I recognized the same place where I had my encounter with the two wonderful black wolves I had seen before, and somehow, I felt they were following me, that I was being watched by them, at the same time protected. I entered through the back door, sure that the cameras, the surveillance system, and the mansion's guards had already noticed my presence. Where had they been when I really needed them? I would have time to think about that later; for now, I just wanted to go into my room, lock the door, and lie down. Somehow, I had saved myself, for the second time, from Chloe and Amelia.
