WHEN Jeffrey and Jericho got to the van, the door opened and my mom got out. She was looking intently at Jericho and I could tell she was smiling and about to cry at the same time. Jeffrey picked my son up and said “Mom, this is Jericho. Jericho, that’s your grandma. Isn’t she pretty?”
My son turned his head and looked at me. As soon as I smiled and nodded at him, he turned to look at my mom and said “Hi grandma. You’re very pretty. You look like my mommy.”
I saw my mom chuckle and touch my son’s cheek before saying “Well, your mommy is my daughter, that’s why we look alike.” She then turned and had my dad and Jerome get out of the van.
