I waited a day before calling Dr. Mantiza’s cousin. When I did, she knew exactly who I was and invited me to her office for an interview two days later. I was so relieved that she sounded nice and that our conversation sounded positive. Although she didn’t guarantee me the job, I was determined to do well in the interview.
The following day, I put on a white button-up blouse and a black pencil skirt. I paired it with black heels. The heels are only two inches high because I can’t handle wearing anything higher than this. I bought this ensemble from a thrift store specifically for my interview with Amelia.
