JAKE took me to a bistro instead of a bar. It’s quite small, and there are not a lot of people inside. Maybe it’s because it’s a weekday.
Jessica: “Why did you bring me here? I wanted to go to a bar and keep drinking.”
Jake: “Bars are noisy.”
I followed Jake inside, and we were seated immediately. He took two menus and handed me one. As he looked at the menu, he said, “I haven’t had dinner yet. The food here is great. You should also order something to nibble on if you plan to keep drinking.”
Jessica: “Okay.”
I decided to order some chicken fingers while Jake ordered some pork chops, pork sisig, and rice. He also got a side order of fries. Before the waiter left, he asked for a bottle of red wine to be served as well. He had asked me what I wanted to drink earlier,
