❤ Jessica’s POV ❤
I woke up with my head pounding. I immediately regretted drinking last night, but when I thought about how it helped me get to sleep, I just shrugged it off. I also had a great conversation with my dad last night.
I woke up a bit later than usual, with my head pounding. The door to my room opened, and Jericho came in all ready for school.
Jericho: “Good morning, mommy.”
Jessica: “Good morning, honey. Sorry, I woke up late.”
Jericho: “It’s okay, mommy. I’m about to leave for school, and I just wanted to say goodbye. Uncle Jeffrey is driving me to school.”
Jessica: “Okay. Have fun at school.”
Jericho kissed me on the cheeks before running out of my bedroom. I then headed to the shower to get ready for work.
I took an aspirin to relieve my headache, and had two cups
