“The only word I want to hear from your lips is more,” he whispered as his thumb caressed my lower lip.

“On your knees,” he commanded.

Slowly, with my eyes fixed on his, I sank to my knees in front of him and swallowed hard at the sight of him straining against his pants.

“Good girl,” he murmured, grabbing my pony tail as a moan rumbled out of him, “now, show me what that pretty mouth is for.”

Lydia Carter is an Omega raised outside pack life with only one dream: to become a healer at Hopkins Medical Center. When her mother marries the formidable Alpha of White Creek Pack, her dream becomes a reality.

Lydia thinks her biggest challenge will be fitting in.

She’s wrong!

Xander White is the Alpha’s only heir and the pack’s most brilliant healer who hides a dark, obsessive hunger.

One reckless moment with a stranger in an elevator leads to a life changing twist, especially when that stranger turns out to be none other than her new stepbrother, Xander White and her supervising healer.

He wants a deal. One night a week.

His rules. In return, he’ll help her destroy the man who took everything from her.

Now, Lydia must decide: surrender to the monster who owns her future. Or risk losing everything she’d ever dreamed of. But the real question isn’t whether she’ll surrender. It’s whether she’ll survive him.

A Little Bit Of Bad Sometimes Is Good
Chapter One. Lydia’s POV. I smoothed the edges of my yellow sundress for the upteenth time as I paced the length of the bamboo bar in front of the beach. I glanced down at my watch and let out a frustrated groan. I had been waiting out there for three good hours for my supposed soon-to-be ‘stepbrother’ yet he was nowhere in sight. “You’ll love him, Lyds. He’s brilliant, a perfect gentleman and a renowned healer.” Mom’s excited voice from last week played on a loop in my head. My Mom was about to get married to the Alpha of White Creek Pack, Charles White, in a few hours and I had recently just returned to the pack after six years for the wedding when the event planner insisted I headed straight to practicing with Xander White, the only child of the man my mom was about to get married to. All we had to do was just walk down the beach together during the ceremony without tripping, how hard could it be? Except, he didn’t even bother to show up. A few minutes later, there was still no sign of him. Angrily, I grabbed my phone and texted Alpha Charles Beta and he sent a number I could reach him on. I sent a text instantly, my fingers flying over the keyboard with annoyance, “Hi, it’s Lydia. I’m at the Sunset Bar for the wedding planner’s meeting?” The three little dots appeared immediately. Then stopped. Then started again before his text popped up, “Something came up. Can’t make it. Tell the planner I’ll follow her chart.” That was it? No apology! No explanation! I arched a brow in disbelief, anger coursing through my veins as I glared down at the screen, my fingers wrapped around the phone so tightly it was a miracle the screen didn’t crack under the pressure. “Tell the planner?” I muttered under my breath as I scoffed out loud. Who the f**k did he think I was, his servant? Angrily, I stormed back to the hotel room. The wedding was flawless, Mom was grinning from ear to ear like an excited little girl and looked like she had been cut right out of a fairytale as she walked down the Mating Aisle with Alpha Charles. The whole thing went on smoothly and soon enough, I was seated at the corner of the luxurious bar the couple had reserved for the after party, watching everyone else have the best night of their lives while I kept scrolling through my phone. I kept refreshing my mail over and over again but there was nothing… No response from the Healers Guild I had sent a request mail to. The Healers Guild were an organization of all the best healers in the entire seven packs that made up the werewolf world. They built a clinic, Hopkins Medical Center which quickly rose to fame and they were already becoming a major competitor for other healers in the global space. From the moment I decided to become a Healer, I dreamed of working with them and what better opportunity than the summer internship? But the problem was, Hopkins Medical Center didn’t just accept interns. They had limited slots and it was almost impossible to get a post with them. I sighed in frustration as I ran my hand through my hair, I tossed my phone aside and grabbed the glass of water on the table, just as I was about to take a sip, my nose twitched as an unfamiliar, unique scent caught my attention. I glanced up sharply and the first thing my eyes landed on was a young man standing right in front of me, dressed in a casual blank pants and shirt. A few buttons were undone and even in the dim light of the bar, I could see the tattoos that covered most of his chest, down his forearms where his sleeves were rolled up. My breath hitched. He had sharp cheekbones, lips that looked devilishly soft, his hair was a mess yet nothing had ever looked just right but it was his eyes that stole my breath away. They looked wrong. Different. One eye was a clear, stormy grey while the other was a shade of green so pale it was almost silver. It was utterly breathtaking. “Mind if I sit here for a bit?” He asked, his silky smooth yet rough on the edges, voice filled my head and I snapped out of my trance. “Huh….” He smirked, his eyes lit up in a mischievous way as he pulled the seat back and sat down gently, his fingers wrapped around his glass and I couldn’t help but notice the tattoos on his knuckles. Who was he? I hadn’t seen him at the wedding and Mom had already introduced me to everyone on the guest list. Before I could say anything, he pulled out a cigarette, lit it and began to smoke. A cloud of thin smoke soon surrounded me and I instantly began to cough. “Oh… pardon my manners, you want one?” He raised his cigarette box up and offered me one with a wide grin on his face. I shot him a glare. “What? You don’t smoke?” He asked and my frown deepened. He smirked, his mismatched eyes glittering with amusement, “Didn’t think so. You look like the good girl type.” Those words grated on my nerves instantly. “You don’t know anything about me,” I shot back, my voice tight. “I know you’ve been scowling at your phone for an hour, you’re wearing a dress the color of sunshine at a party like this, you flinch at cigarette smoke and you’re even drinking water,” he took a slow drag, his eyes never leaving mine. “Seems pretty straightforward.” He added with an annoying tone. I wanted to argue, my lips fell apart immediately and I wished the words would just flow out endlessly but I was suddenly left speechless. There was no denying the fact that he was right and that made me clench my fists in irritation under the table. I turned away, focusing my attention on my glass of water and hoping he’d get the hint and leave. He didn’t. “So… what’s got a good girl like you so frustrated on a night like this?” He prodded, stretching out his hand to grab another glass of alcohol from one of the waiters that just passed beside him with a tray. “Nothing.” I mumbled. He raised a brow and the expression highlighted his features even more, making him look even more gorgeous, “You look like you just got stood up.” He blurted out and I almost spat out the water in my mouth.
