"Hah! Hah! Rai, the Vanity's Guildmaster has come. He says he came for you"

Tedd was still catching his breathe when he told Rai about the news.

"Hey, calm down, breathe. Where is he?"

Rai held Tedd's shoulders after telling him to calm down.

"I think I know who made this guy run around looking for me"

Rai thought as he gave Tedd his water bottle.

"In the headmaster's office. There was 5 of them, the guildmaster looks pissed. That is why I kept looking for you as headmaster's orders, gulp!"

" I knew it. The headmaster is really is a shameless man."

Rai spoke in an annoyed tone while Tedd was still drinking water.

"Haah! Thanks for the water, but I wasn't only doing this because of headmaster's order. I did it because I admire you, you represent all the students who are underestimated by arrogant people but you stood up to them. It moved our hearts, so we decided to help you in any way possible"

"We were wrong that time but we regret it. But it's great to see an ally out of nowhere"

Harris spoke up and gave Tedd a thumbs up while smiling.

Rai was moved by Tedd's speech and patted both of his shoulders while smiling.

"Thanks ah-"

Rai didn't know his name so he couldn't finish his thanks.

"Ah! Oh, I'm sorry. I am Tedd Prin"

Tedd said as he bowed and offered a handshake.

"No need to bow, thanks Tedd"

Rai shook his hand and looked at the others.

"Don't look at us like that, we'll follow you at headmaster's office you know"

Charles said while crossing his arms.

"That's obvious isn't it? My team sill never back down"

Harris put his hand in his chest like a knight swearing loyalty. The rest of his team did the same.

Rai put on a poker face and slammed his hand on his face.

"You guys look ridiculous, you know that?"

"What? Who cares! I'm following you like the rest of us"

"Hahahaha!"

A laugh rang in their ears, as Roxy appeared behind them.

"You made quite a lot of friends Rai. You won't mind me tagging along right?"

Roxy said in such a way that would seduce a guy. She glanced at Verette who was standing in front of Rai then smiled at her.

"Can I tag along too?"

Tedd asked while wiping his sweat. Rai scratched his nose, then nodded in answer to Tedd.

"Thanks!"

The group headed towards the headmaster's office. Verette and Roxy stood side by side, Charles was behind Rai, Harris and the others were behind Verette and Roxy.

They reached the headmaster's office. Rai knocked at the door, and it opened. A guildmember of Vanity opened the door for him/them.

Vanity's Guildmaster was sitting with his arms and legs crossed. He looked at Rai with a cool demeanor, evaluating Rai's strength with just his eyes. Rai bowed to greet the headmaster and bowed back at Rai. The other bowed as they entered the office as well.

Rai walked towards the headmaster.

"Good morning headmaster, I came here as per you request."

"I'm glad you came here Rai, you see these gentlemen said they had business with you about the matter that happened earlier. So I told them to come to my office to settle this business peacefully."

The headmaster explained.

"Yes, I understand. But why are they freely letting such murderous intent out?"

Rai pointed out as he looked at them.

Kane and his guildmembers looked at Rai with the intention to kill. Vanity is a guild that as their name suggests, they take pride in their strength, nobility and looks.

"Hmmp! A mere look is a murderous intent to you? You really are just a kid."

Kane stood up and looked down on Rai as Kane was taller than Rai for a few inches.

"If I were to let out such murderous intent, it would be to a man and not a kid like you"

Kane said while keeping his cool demeanor.

Rai just looked at him in the eye, keeping his caml face as well.

"Don't misunderstood, I came here as a brother and not a guildmaster. These guys are Kael's cousin, so they came here with me. A am Kael's elder brother, the eldest of the Yujin household."

Kane introduced himself as well and the others that came with him.

"You see, my brother was saying that you came back, a failure of a noble, to get revenge to him. You were involved in the recent problem with his team."

Kane said while walking around Rai in circle.

"He hypothesized that you came back for his fiance as well."

Kane walked towards Roxy and slide his finger in Roxy's chin.

"You had this beautiful lady with you but you still chosed her. I feel quite sad for this lady, you won't mind me taking her for myself don't you?"

Kane said while taking a glance at Rai, waiting for his reaction, failed to extract a reaction from Rai He then turned to Verette and Charles, then walked back to his seat.

"That's why I came here to ask you to return his teammates and disappear from his sight because if you dont"

"If I don't?"

"I'll be forced to use my power against you"

Kane stood from his seat and looked down on Rai again.

"And a kid like you will only rot in my hands."

The tension was filling the room, they knew how strong a guildmaster is, as a requirement you'll have to be as strong as a general in the King's army to become a guildmaster.

"Wait!"

Verette broke the silence.

"We are not Kael's belongings. We can chose who we'd go with"

The headmaster nodded in agreement as he smiled.

"You guys are a part of his team for a long time, you'll exchange that bond for this guy? How pitiful bond you have"

"If your brother's bond can be broken by a mere misunderstanding then I don't have the luxury to play teammates with your paranoid brother. f**k that!, if he really had a bond with us, can't he spare a little trust?!"

Charles snapped, well we know this will happen, some of you even predicted this right?

Kane stared at him, the headmaster and the others were surprised at Charles. Roxy laughed at Charles baring his teeth at a guildmaster.

"You don't find a guy like him lushing out to a guildmaster these days."

Roxy's humor might be a little loose but she's got a point. Rai smiled at Kane, who started to get angry, his cool demeanor earlier got penetrated by Charles remarks.

So he stood up and bowed to the headmaster.

"I guess my business here is concluded, I will take my leave headmaster"

"Surely you would not be provoked by these KIDS right?"

"Worry not headmaster, they are not worth my time"

Kane replied as he walked towards the door with his members.

"You better be, because if I ever find out that something happened to a single one of them. Your guild will be history."

The headmaster said with a dead serious look in his face. Kane felt the headmaster's pressure, and left without looking back. Finally! The headmaster acted like one for the first time. You thought he was only an i***t who always sleeps, right?

"Togs!"

The door was closed with a strong slam.
