Fair Trade

In an attempt to find the Oracle, Palutena would shine her light on the world. Doing this would create a frozen image that she would archive at the end of every day. After a thorough scan in search for the Oracle's energy signature Palutena found something else instead. Upon a floating island, there stands a great tree made of light. From the tree hangs green pods with wooden figures inside. When the pods drop they fall to the earth and bury themselves deep, till the season they bloom. The wooden figure inside blossoms into a newborn elf and from where they land they begin to form the first elf civilization. Palutena noticed the process from the beginning and instantly claimed the elf-lings as her own, sending angels to watch over their growth and protect them from harm. This causes the elves to prosper dramatically to the point they soon have their own kingdom. It's not long before Gannon takes notice. Ganondorf becomes obsessed with the elves to the point he makes a deal with Palutena to trade all of his dark angel's for ownership of the elves, and she agrees. The dark angel's make the transition from the Underworld to Paradise. Taking up residence the dark angels replace the light angel's who are then sent to earth to continue to watch over the elf kingdom. Although the transition is successful, negative feelings arise within the light angels. These feelings grow as they leave Paradise to further the lifespan of near immortal creatures, knowing that this new home would not be temporary.
