The transition has the opposite effect on the dark angels, whose spirits are cleansed and made whole from the experience. Yet as the dark angels settle in Paradise they begin to observe the light angels. It is because of this they begin to understand the problem facing their kin. Till a band of dark angels take it upon themselves to leave Paradise and target light angel's with newborn charges. The results of this dark favor was the swift death of an entire elf generation with no clear explanation as to why.
Giving light angels a one way ticket back to Paradise. Thus proving it was possible to return. Which led to the elf population to drop like flies as more and more dark angels descend from paradise to challenge their light sworn brother's charge. Since elves cant see angels they have no way of defending themselves. Only duty bound light angel's with great resolve can protect their elf charge and become known as the Right-Ones. It gets to the point that light angels and dark angels team up in paradise and form the Brotherhood. To once again descend to the world and m******e the remaining elves and light angels protecting them. However at this point the Right-Ones and the last of elf-kind are aware of the looming threat and are prepared to make a last stand. Sensing the danger. The elf queen takes center stage before the m******e could begin to offer up a prayer to Palutena.
