Although each Old-God was weakened to the same degree, each retained a different fraction of their celestial might. The female Old-God in blue retained the power of time, taking up the mantle of the Oracle. The male Old-God in red retained the power of omnipresence taking up the mantle of the Guardian. The Female Old-God in yellow retained the power of creation taking on the mantle of the Creator. However the male Old-God in green retained the power of infinite power. Upon losing his last stock in The Great Battle, he was dealt a blow that cleaved him from shoulder to belly button. Respawning with a glowing scar that erupted pure power resulting in the big bang that created the galaxy leaving the Old-God in green perpetually and permanently spewing power orbs and paralyzed. Although the Old-God in green was in a sorry state he was able to make known to all that he was the Source and that by collecting all four Assist Trophies one would unite the power of a Celestial and be able to change the very fabric of the universe according to their will. After communicating this the New-Gods opened their eyes to the splendor and majesty of the Galaxy before them and thus fell under the trance of star-gazing.
