The Great Battle

336 Words
To this end the four Celestials created a world. Only the world became sentient and created an entity powerful enough to destroy the world completely by unleashing a Great Bomb. By rewinding time the Celestials are able to inhabit the world for the duration of its lifespan, reliving the memory of the Bomb Reset Forrest as it collapses unaffected. Since the world is the only thing to mark the passage of time the Bomb reset forest rests on the edge of time seeing as the beginning and end of time are identical the space to signify this is referred to as Final Destination. In their haste to prepare for The Great Battle the Celestials and New-Gods neglect to agree upon a reward, it wasn’t until Mr. Game & Watch inquired that both sides offered up their God-tier weapons. Thus began the battle. The Great Battle was hard fought and long lasting, yet from the beginning the Celestials fought an uphill and losing battle. The cause of this was Mr.Game & Watch’s transformation into Cthulhu, proving to be truly devastating against the Celestials by forcefully removing them from the fight. In the end it was Palutena and her talent to pull off her Black hole and Mega laser back to back that allowed her the advantage to come out on top amongst the New-Gods by retaining the most lives. The Celestials fought with valor up until the very end. Upon defeating the last Celestial a great explosion is felt that cuts the New-Gods victory short. Safe within the memory of the Bomb Reset Forest the New-Gods experience the quake of the Big Bang and emerge from the memory to find a galaxy born from the explosion. To greet the New-Gods, the four former Celestials, although still immortal, are now considered the Old-Gods. They offer the New-Gods their prize for victory, the first god tier weapon, the Assist Trophy. The New-Gods accept their spoils with heavy hearts when they see the condition the Old-God in green is in.
