The Weekend

I took shower and prepared breakfast for both of us. But the strange part is Liam is not up yet, its already 8 now. I should go check on him. I knocked on the door. No response. Knocked again. No response. 'I hope he's alright' I entered inside his room. 'He's still sleeping' I was about to exit when he said "No don't, I want to stay, don't leave me, please don't leave me alone" I moved to his side and he is still asleep, he might be dreaming, but why is he crying? "Liam" I softly spoke tapping him a bit. He opened his eyes for a while "Bella you're here?" I nodded. He took my hand and pulled me to himself "Don't Leave me ok?" I was shocked at first and tried to move out of his grasp but in vain. "Liam, let me go please" I did not get any response then I noticed he was burning with high fever. I tried to remove his hands wrapped on me 'Tried' but was unable to.

Not sure when I slept. When I woke up, I was still wrapped and my head was resting on his chest. He was speaking to someone on his phone, in a very low tone, to not disturb me his hands never leaving me. After a while I realized the position we were in. 'I dare not make any movement' After disconnecting the call Liam hugged me more tightly kissing me on the temple which earned a gasp from me. He immediately looked at me "You're up" was all he said then closed his eyes still not letting me go. 'oh Thank God, he closed his eyes' I was blushing and I know I might be red as a tomato. Sensing that I am about to get up Liam said "Stay" to which I complied although it didn't feel right. After 5 minutes I finally said "Liam, let me go now please" "Never" "What, what do you mean?" "Exactly what I said" "I don't understand, just let me get up then we can talk, it's inappropriate for a employee to get in bed with his employer" "Is there only employee & employer relationship among us Bella?" "Yes" I honestly answered. 'One sided love doesn't count.' he pulled away his hands, I felt a lack of warmth immediately.

He did not say anything else so I got up and moved to my room. The clock showed 12, we didn't even have breakfast and it's almost lunch time. I decided to make something heavy and walked towards the kitchen. Soon enough Liam walked out of his room dressed in Jean's and tshirt. "I am going to make lunch, what would you like to have?" "Don't bother, I will eat out" with that he went away not even looking back at me. 'I am hurt'. I did not make lunch, just had what the morning breakfast. I fell asleep watching Naruto. It was evening when I woke up. Liam was no where seen. Soon night came. Liam did not return. I was waiting for him since long, I did not have dinner and now i did not have any appetite. 'Where did he go? Shall I give him a call?'

I called him, but he did not pick for the first two times. At the third ring someone picked up the call "Liam, where are you?" "Liam is sleeping currently, anything you want me to convey to him" It was a lady speaking. 'Who is she? Why does she have Liam's phone?' "I just wanted to know when will he return?" "May be after 2-3 days, I don't want him to go, so he will stay with me..." and that was it, I could not continue further the lady was speaking something else but I did not here. 'She is for sure his girlfriend. I was thinking to high of myself after the morning incident. I should stay away from him. But why am I sad, I was the one who said we have no other relationship.'

Liam was gone for full 3 days.I had barely eaten anything. 24/7 I kept myself engrossed in work and completed almost half of my week's work in 2 days. Back to back meetings were scheduled. Drew was handling all of Liam's work. I had to keep myself busy to not think of Liam. He did not give me call after although he was in constanttouch with Drew. Well obviously, I don't mean anything to him. I'll just complete my 3 months time here and leave for good. It's a torture for me.
