Your letter sent me into total confusion. Like everybody else I believed that veiled women were quite content to stay at home. The ladies who sit with you do not seem to mind, or they consider it unimportant, spending their time telling stories like the ones I have listened to. Now you tell me that you only become accustomed to it like a patient gets used to being sick! I do not doubt that women are tormented by their prison and I am deeply sorry for the injustices they suffer.
Let it be God’s wish that we should work together to achieve the meeting we both desire. My heart is at your disposal, do with it as you please.
