After wishing you well and a peaceful life we would like to inform you that these days we are in Umm Durman. We are all quite well and only hope that you are also in good health, which is our greatest wish from our Lord. The staff sergeant has informed us that he will be sending a battalion in the direction of Sawakin but I don’t know if our company will be included. God willing, when it is decided I will let you know if we are part of it and send you a letter from Sawakin. I apologise for the delay in writing till now but they have been moving us about a lot and I didn’t know whether I would be staying or be posted.
