Staciel
Staring is rude! How can I forget that? I want to slap myself right now.
"Here you go sir," the bartender broke our staring contest, and I feel embarrassed right now. His blue eyes drowned me that I didn't even realize we were staring at each other for a minute.
The moment our gaze broke, I immediately took a shot at my drink just to cover up what I was feeling.
This is so awkward! I can see in my peripheral view how his eyes went back on me while he slowly drank that glass of martini. I bit my lip and pretended to look at my phone, which I regretted immediately because Jace's name popped up so suddenly.
I inhaled deeper and answered the call. I need some distractions right now.
"Why are you calling?" I said.
"Where are you? I've been waiting for you for 40 minutes. The mall closed 20 minutes ago. I texted Talia to take you home but she's not replying," he said on the other line. He sounds worried.
"We just uh having a quick stroll," I lied.
"A stroll? At night? Do you know how dangerous it is to do that, especially if you are both girls? Wait! What's that music?"
"What music? There is no music here," I quickly stood up and ran to a quiet place. That Dj really went and put the loudest music there and I am too dumb to not go to a quiet place before answering the call.
"Are you lying to me?" I can feel the suspicion in his voice.
"I didn't! Anyway, Talia is calling me so bye!" I ended the call before he could answer back.
I quickly went back to my seat. The guy is not in his seat anymore and I wonder where he has gone. I sighed and got another drink. It's strange, but I guess alcohol is addicting and I started to get dizzy after 3 glasses.
"Are you alone?" My head turned when I heard a voice behind me. A random guy who's taller than me and with a broad smile.
The guy is suspicious, but I don't want to sound rude if I ignore him, so I'll politely answer.
"No," I replied.
"Hmm, I see," he said and took the seat beside me.
Why did you take Talia's seat?! I wanted to say it to him but chose to keep quiet. Another glass of vodka was served in front of me
"One glass of whiskey," the guy beside me asked the bartender. I flinched when his left arm went to my shoulders. and I made another gulp. My head is getting heavy but Talia isn't back yet. I hope she didn't go home with some guy she randomly chose to make out with. I would definitely choose violence.
"Sir, your arm please get it off," I said. Talia is still nowhere to be found and I am now getting uncomfortable with my position. I don't like this guy.
He only laughed at my words and pulled me to him even more.
"Do you want to have some fun tonight?" He whispered to my ears, which sent me shivers. I need to go home now! This guy screams danger.
"I need to go," I stood up quickly but halted. My vision is getting blurry and I feel like everything turned upside down. s**t! This is bad. I didn't realize I drank alcohol too much than I can handle. I should have taken one glass only.
"Where are you going?" I felt his arm on my waist. I tried to look at him and he wore a smirk on his face.
The next thing I know, we are outside. He pulled me into a parking lot and stopped in front of his car. Everything I see is moving and I feel something weird in my stomach.
"Please stop!" He didn't listen to me. Instead, he slammed my back into his car. The smirk is still there.
"H-help, somebody help!" He attempted to kiss my lips but I turned my head to the side, avoiding his disgusting lips. He held both of my hands to the side and he kissed my neck instead. The parking lot is far from the entrance, so there's a small possibility that help is coming.
Before he could cup my breast, he suddenly went to the ground. Another guy showed up and punched the guy who harassed me seconds ago. A savior!
"What the hell man?" The guy who was with me shouted at the new guy. He got no response and just punched him until he was unconscious.
My tears suddenly flow continuously and I feel like my strength left my body as I slump to the ground. I still feel dizzy but I can clearly see the face of my savior who is now in front of me kneeling and helping me sit up.
It's him. The guy I met at the library yesterday. He is not wearing his eyeglasses, unlike the first time I met him.
"Are you all right?" His voice was full of concern. I nodded in response.
"I should take you home. Where do you live?" he asked. I was about to answer but then I remembered Talia. I stood up quickly only to get dizzy later.
"Hey, careful," he said in a soft voice.
"I have a friend with me. S-She's still inside," I said.
"I'll find your friend. What's her name?"
"Raptalia. She's wearing a purple dress," I said. He nodded and he suddenly lifted me up.
"Stay in my car for awhile," He left me after. I was sitting in his passenger seat and waiting for them to show up. My head hurts and I feel sleepy because of alcohol. My phone rang many times but I didn't answer it. I'm sure it's Jace.
"Damn!" I cuss. I won't drink again.
It's 5 minutes already but Talia and the guy haven't shown up yet. I closed my eyes to rest but suddenly I felt myself sleeping inside this car.
