I STILL CHOOSE YOU

Moving schools is a hard thing to do, especially when you also move towns. Because of my parents' divorce, I needed to move far away from everything I was used to. Not like I was used to much, I was living in a pretty nice house which was near my school and all I was doing was going to school and go back home where I was studying. That's my life for the past 3 years since I started high school and, honestly, I started to get used to it, but also all the teenagers are partying and having fun all the time, they skip classes and go to drink coffee, and I've never done that. I was always the quiet girl, always my teacher's favorite, my grades never went down, and I like it, but I also feel like I've never lived my life. Anyway, here I am, on my way to boston school's campus. I'm afraid first of living on my own and second of having to study in a new school for my senior year. I was so stressed the whole way to the campus. What if I won' t make any friends? What if the teachers will be harsh, what if I won' t make it? What if I fail in my senior year, the most important one? All those thoughts made me sick and when we arrived I almost threw up. By the time we entered the gate, there were already two women who were waiting for us. I tried to give them a smile but not sure if I was able enough to do it. "Good morning young lady." "Good morning" I said back, barely speaking, "don' t be afraid. You look like you don' t have more until you're going to faint. Let's go to your room, so you can make yourself comfortable" . My knees were shaking, I went back to my car, so I could take some of my stuff and slowly walk my way through the campus. Everything was so big and colorful. Everywhere you looked, there were flowers and trees. When we got to the entrance of the building with apartments, the lady gave me the keys to my room, " room 45. You'll find it without problems, trust me, make yourself comfortable and when you're ready give me a call, so we can go and show you the rest of te campus". I said a grateful “Thank You”, then I went in the building trying to keep down my emotions. i found the room easily as the lady said and when I opened it i was shocked. It was beautiful. It was colored in purple, like the color of the entire campus. I had a very big window in the living room where I could see the entire garden from. i arranged my stuff and made my room more like..me. When I finished, I decided that I needed a nap, so I made my way through the bedroom . As I made myself comfortable, without realizing, i fell asleep.
