CHAPTER 1
The sky transforms into a picture of deep, velvety blues and purples as twilight draws near. A few stars begin to appear above, each one a faint glow amid the expanse of the galaxy. Alyssa Collins is observing the vast panorama in front of her while perched on the cliff's edge with her legs hanging over the side. Her eyes are spinning from the wind tearing her hair, and her cheeks are flushing from the frigid breeze that is blowing about them. She is sporting a casual yet effortlessly elegant ensemble of a baggy orange jumper, blue trousers, and clip-in space buns.
“You seem to be quieter, don’t you?” asked Wylie Lasts.
“What are you trying to feel? The wind, the darkness, or what?”.
”I am content to simply soak up the atmosphere” Alyssa Collins replied.
“This is insane, Alyssa. You sit here daily. As if something unusual will appear in front of us. It’s an earthly planet. Nothing mysterious here”.
Alyssa’s attention is fixed on the sky, and the quiet hum of the world seems to fade away as she eagerly cranes her neck upward, her eyes scanning the heavens for a glimpse of something special, searching for that one elusive thing that will capture her heart and imagination. The stars twinkle like diamonds and a faint glow in the distance hints at the presence of the Milky Way. She feels small and insignificant under the vast, twinkling expanse, but also deeply connected to the mysteries of the universe.
”Thinking and over-thinking, I’ve gone insane!”, exclaimed Alyssa Collins to Wylie Lasts“.
“That’s enough for today. The moment is fleeting, but it will give you a sense of awe and wonder that you will carry with you long after the night has passed”, said Wylie.
As Alyssa continues to stare upward, her eyes begin to adjust to the darkness, and she can make out the faint outline of a shooting star darting across the sky. She gasps in excitement, feeling her heart race with anticipation. But actually, it was just an illusion. A moment of quiet contemplation in the midst of a bustling world below.
“Enough Alyssa, just get up, and let's go home”, said Wylie.
“Don’t worry, stay here. I feel good here”, Alyssa said.
“But It’s too late already, we are supposed to go to school early morning tomorrow”, Wylie added.
“School sucks!”....Alyssa inquired.” Oh I don’t get it”, Look at me. “I don’t even care about school.”
“It is what it is”, Wylie said laughingly.
“Everybody considers you the biggest nerd in academia”, Wylie whispered.
Alyssa didn’t reply, but she was thinking, “It's not because she loves it, it’s because the school loves it so”.Both stood up and walked towards house.” You just messed up my mind”, shouted Alyssa, and laughingly moved towards home holding each other by the neck.
Alyssa resides in Odusanya with her mother alone in the spring. While being a caring mother and aware of Alyssa's strength in handling life's challenges, Lynn Collins, a skilled therapist, finds it difficult to grasp her daughter's psychology. Alyssa is actually a deliberately outgoing person; discovering extraterrestrial countries and species is what she finds most exciting. She is a teenage girl who is kind of really uncomfortable. Alyssa is passionate about writing about aliens and galaxies and secretly creates alien comics. She is obsessed with supernatural groups and spends a lot of time researching things like crop circles, hentai, and extraterrestrial hypotheses. She perceives the environment as being permeated with alien traits, using it as a means of escape into her own make-believe universe.
"—-has always found the concept of aliens and extraterrestrial life fascinating,"
spending most of her time reading books, watching documentaries, and daydreaming about what life might be like on other planets. Her room portrays her love for mystical creatures as walls adorned with posters, stickers, and paintings of mysterious creatures who appeared sort of ‘cute’ to her even though they look absurd.
The alarm rang madly.
“Goddamn, I’m late!” Hurriedly, throwing the blanket away and got out of bed without slippers, she moved into the toilet. “I’m a complete mess!”, she giggled.
Standing in front of a mirror.
She is a young girl with a symmetrical and perfectly proportioned figure, sparkling eyes, and a delicate nose. Her hair is a magnificent mane of silken tresses, either cascading down her back in loose waves, and her hairstyles are in a weird way, as two buns seem more like donuts or space buns on her head. Her skin is soft, smooth, and radiant, with a natural rosy glow. She exudes confidence and dresses up wearing costumes of eccentric fashion, actually,
“she is definitely a weirdo in the eyes of people, due to the cringe stuff she is always adorned with!”.
In a crowd, she is the one who instantly catches the eye, commanding attention.
“A perfect blend of beauty and awkwardness”.
Alyssa knocks on the neighbor‘s door hurriedly.
“Wylie! Come outside, we’re already late for school”.” Yes, almost there, babe. Let’s go!” Wylie replied. On their way to school, they rode bicycles along the passage with lush dark trees on both sides, giving the feel of freshness and conversing.
”I have always been fascinated by mysterious creatures. Whether it's dragons, unicorns, or mermaids, there is just something about their allure that captivates me”, said Alyssa excitedly.
“Really?” Wylie asked, “What do you love so much about them?”.
Alyssa sarcastically replied,” I think it's their mysterious nature. These mythical creatures have been shrouded in secrecy for centuries, and no one really knows what they are capable of. It's like there's this whole other world that exists just beyond our reach”.
“That's a really romantic way of looking at it. Do you think that these creatures could ever exist in real life?” Wylie said mockingly.
”Who knows? But even if they don't, the idea of them is enough for me. The idea that there could be something out there that is so beautiful and so powerful is just fantastic”, Alyssa insisted.
“I can understand that. I think it's great that you have something that you are so passionate about.” Wylie appreciated it.
Alyssa smiles, Thanks…! “I just can't help but love the mystery and magic of these creatures. They have been a part of my imagination for so long, and I think that's what makes them so special.”
Alyssa is a high school girl who is considered one of the brilliant students in the class.
The whole aura of her personality reveals that she's mature, ambitious, and passionate, but in reality she hates school. She has chosen the way she wants to live and what makes her happy. an excellent example of smashing taboos and challenging stereotypes. She’s into alien things but now, being a literary student, she intoxicates herself by writing and drawing as a hobby that nobody knows...
“Err... I wanted to share that with you. I write. Aliens comics.”
“It’s more like my dark secrets. I write about them. Make drawings of creatures I am in love with”, said Alyssa in a low voice, hesitatingly.
“Oh. You never told me. But I guess it’s creativity. You should get it published”, said Wylie while patting her back.
But there is a tussle about whether I should show this to people or not. This is something I genuinely love to engage in”.
“People will make fun of me”
“Let the negative energy dissipate. Focus on what makes you happy”, said Wylie.
“This wholehearted friendship was everything for Alyssa as she is the one who, listens to her fantasies, both named it Everythingship’.
