Order of Flames

Melzgad walked through the dimly lit corridors of the academy, his eyes scanning the shadows for any sign of movement. He had been looking for Zara, wanting to talk to her about the strange occurrences that had been happening around the academy. As he turned a corner, he caught sight of Zara standing in front of a large stone door. She was muttering to herself, her hands weaving intricate patterns in the air. Melzgad's eyes widened as he realized that Zara was using magic. He had never seen her use magic before, and he didn't know that she was even capable of it. Zara's eyes snapped towards him, and she froze, her hands still weaving their patterns in the air. For a moment, the two of them just stared at each other, Melzgad's mind racing with questions. And then, Zara's expression changed. Her eyes narrowed, and her face twisted into a snarl. She raised her hands, and a blast of flame shot towards Melzgad. Melzgad reacted instinctively, using the "Shadow Slip" technique that Aria had taught him. He slipped to the side, avoiding the flames by mere inches. But Zara was relentless. She shot blast after blast of flame at Melzgad, each one coming closer and closer to hitting him. Melzgad dodged and weaved, using every trick in the book to avoid the flames. He used the "Chrono Strike" technique, striking at Zara's magic with his own time-based abilities. But Zara was too powerful, and she countered his attacks with ease. Melzgad was starting to get desperate. He knew that he couldn't keep dodging Zara's attacks forever. He needed to come up with a new plan, and fast. That's when he remembered the "Temporal Loop" technique that Aria had taught him. He focused his mind, creating a localized time loop that would allow him to move freely while Zara was stuck in a time loop. Melzgad moved quickly, using the time loop to his advantage. He dodged Zara's attacks, using the loop to make it seem like he was in two places at once. Zara was confused, her eyes darting back and forth as she tried to keep track of Melzgad's movements. But Melzgad was relentless, using the time loop to his advantage. He created a series of illusions, making it seem like he was attacking Zara from all sides. Zara was caught off guard, her defenses weakening as she tried to keep track of the illusions. Melzgad took advantage of the opportunity, using the "Time Dilation" technique to slow down time. He moved quickly, using the slowed-down time to his advantage. He created a series of complex patterns, using his time-based abilities to create a maze of temporal loops and illusions. Zara was caught in the maze, her movements slowed down as she tried to navigate the complex patterns. Melzgad took advantage of the opportunity, using the maze to his advantage. He moved quickly, using the slowed-down time to escape from Zara's attacks. As he emerged from the maze, Melzgad felt a sense of relief wash over him. He had managed to escape from Zara's attacks, but he knew that he couldn't stay hidden forever. He needed to come up with a new plan, one that would allow him to take down Zara and uncover the truth about her magic. But for now, he just needed to get out of there, and fast. Melzgad turned and ran, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew that Zara would be after him, and he needed to find a safe place to hide. As he ran, Melzgad couldn't help but wonder what Zara's magic was all about. Why was she using it to attack him? And what did she hope to gain from it? He didn't have the answers, but he was determined to find out. Melzgad was not going to back down, not now. He was going to uncover the truth about Zara's magic, no matter what it took. Melzgad sat in Aria's office, his eyes fixed on the floor as he recounted his encounter with Zara. Aria listened intently, her expression growing more serious with each passing moment. When Melzgad finished speaking, Aria leaned forward, her eyes locked on his. "Melzgad, I think I know what's going on here," she said, her voice low and urgent. "What do you mean?" Melzgad asked, his heart racing with anticipation. Aria hesitated, as if unsure of how to proceed. "I think Zara may be part of the Order of Flames," she said finally. Melzgad's eyes widened in shock. "The Order of Flames?" he repeated. "But I thought they were just a myth." Aria shook her head. "No, Melzgad. The Order of Flames is very real. They're a secret society of mages who specialize in fire magic. And from what you've told me, it sounds like Zara may be one of them." Melzgad's mind was reeling. He had never heard of the Order of Flames before, but the idea that Zara might be part of a secret society of fire mages was both fascinating and terrifying. "What does this mean?" Melzgad asked, his voice barely above a whisper. Aria's expression was grim. "It means that Zara is likely to be a very powerful mage, Melzgad. And if she's part of the Order of Flames, she may be bound by a code of secrecy that prohibits her from revealing her true nature to outsiders." Melzgad felt a chill run down his spine. He had never suspected that Zara might be hiding such a huge secret. "What should I do?" Melzgad asked, feeling a sense of uncertainty. Aria's eyes locked on his. "You need to be careful, Melzgad. If Zara is part of the Order of Flames, she may be willing to do whatever it takes to keep her secret safe. You need to watch your back, and be prepared for anything." Melzgad nodded, feeling a sense of determination. He was not going to back down, not now. He was going to uncover the truth about Zara and the Order of Flames, no matter what it took. BUT HOW? This remains a major issue
