Today is the day I said yes to going out with Lucas, I can't think straight and I feel in a panic.
I have collected Jacob from school and we have headed back to Nan's house.
"Nonni we are here" I said, loudly.
"Hello dear" she said walking out the kitchen and heading straight for Jacob kissing him on his head.
Jacob grabbed a snack and drink, then he headed to the front room to do another puzzle.
"Are you sure about tonight Nonni?" I asked again.
"Yes!... this is good for you Chloe, I am so happy you're giving it a chance."
I smiled and looked down.
"What's wrong..." She said now sitting next to me at the kitchen table.
I told her what Laura said to me yesterday at the stall.
"The little toe rag! ...never liked that girl, she is just jealous of you Chlo" she said, angrily.
