Mariano Mariano sat far off as he watched the guys meet poor old Judge William Richter in his own driveway in front of his home. He hated to say it, but the old man had it coming. His beating should have been a lot worse considering how long he'd been dodging paying back his loan. Usually, Ransom would be overseeing a situation like this, but he had assigned Mariano and ran off with an almost giddy smile on his face. It was a little disturbing, actually, considering Ransom tended to be very dark and brooding, but whatever was going on that had him switching up his priorities all of a sudden must have been good. The stern talk Ransom had given the crew a while back popped into his head. That'd been about some girl he didn't want them to touch, so perhaps that was it. It was a surprise
