Chapter 5

"Maribel, will you get some clothes for Jared here? Thank you honey. Chloe Lynn, take this boy upstairs and get him cleaned up." My mother was ordering everyone around. We were met with silence as we walked into the house. Many of the she-wolves were eyeing Jared like a steak. He had torn his clothes during the shift so he was still stark naked when we entered the house. When I noticed them staring I randomly cupped his genitals which elicited a squeak from him.

"Y'all stop staring at his manliness. Acting like y'all don't see one everyday. Chloe Lynn, y'all get on upstairs now. I'm going to drag your daddy inside. Suppers about ready." With that my mother turned around and headed back out the door. I grabbed Jared's hand and pulled him with me up the stairs and to my old room. I closed the door and walked right into the bathroom. Nothing in my room had changed. "Mr.Bones" my skeleton sat in the corner and my medical books were still lined up on the book shelf. Pictures of Devin, Joey, momma and daddy were tacked to my sponge board on the wall. Pictures of May with her tongue hanging out were in picture frames on my desk.

I turned on the shower and came out to Jared looking at the pictures with a smile on his face. He frowned slightly at a picture of teenage me and Devin with his arm around me. Jared reached up and folded the picture to where it only showed me then tacked it back. My giggle caused him to turn to me.

"Come on. Let's clean you up." He walked toward me and my eyes traveled down the length of his body. His chest was muscular and well defined but covered in soft dark hair. His stomach muscles were etched to perfection and made a "V" as though it was pointing to his swinging member which seemed to be waking up.

"Shower with me." He whispered. May perked up and began wagging her tail.

"I'm not sure that's a good idea." May whimpered at my words.

"Chloe, you awake?"

"You might wanna get down here. Daddy is about to blow a gasket." I sighed

"Alright. I'm coming." I conditioned my hair, washed and got out. I wrapped myself in a shower as I walked to the closet to pick out clothes for the day. I chose yoga pants and a t-shirt with running shoes. I got dressed and headed down stairs just in time to see a chair fly across a room. My father was towering over a bored looking Jared as my mother placed her hand on a red faced Daddy.

"You ain't taking my Chloe Lynn no where! She's stayin' right here you Goddamn mutt!" Daddy was growling.

"Joe, calm down! Nobody said Chloe Lynn was goin' anywhere! The boy just asked if you liked to fish! Dear Goddess!" Momma spotted me and smiled brightly. "Chloe Lynn! Did you sleep well sweetheart?" My mother was being unusually kind to me this morning. My father refused to look at me and just sat staring out the window, brooding.

"I slept really well Momma, thank you. Hey, is there any coffee?" Jared shot up out of his seat and poured me a cup bringing over the cream and sugar as he smiled at me like he had just won the lottery.

"Here you go princess." Jared said as he kissed me on my forehead. I smiled at him as I sat down. I was pouring my creamer in when Joey walked in from outside.

"Oh thank the Goddess you came down! Daddy has been acting like a damn toddler all morning. Oh wow! Your mark turned out so cool!" Joey exclaimed.

"What are you talking about?" Daddy looked over at me and then at Jared who seemed to be extremely interested in the place mat on the table. Daddy sniffed at me and then his face turned an interesting shade of purple.

"Now, Joe…"

"YOU MARKED MY DAUGHTER? WHEN I SPECIFICALLY TOLD YOU TO NOT TO?" Daddy roared. Jared just took a sip of his coffee as if my father weren't about to explode.

"THAT'S IT YOU DISRESPECTFUL LITTLE TERMITE! I'M CALLING YOUR DADDY!" My father marched off to his office. I just stared at my coffee.

"Well, I guess you're not a virgin anymore so… when are y'all gonna give me grand babies?" My mother probed. Jared chuckled.

"Goddamit Momma! You! Come with me!" I said pointing at Jared. He swallowed hard and followed me outside and into the woods.

"You marked me? And you didn't think to tell me about it?" I grilled.

"I thought you knew, hell, I sank my teeth into your neck!" I pinched my nose.

"Jared… I was climaxing you moron! Of course I didn't feel it!" I screeched. His cheeks flushed.

"Well I wanted the world to know you were mine!"

"Well, they certainly know it now! You damn near gave my father a heart attack!"

"Were wolves can't have heart attacks!" He accused.

"Yes. They can you simpleton. They can. We aren't immune to disease we are just less likely to suffer from it. But this has put enough stress on Daddy that now-"

Two wolves were walking through the woods.

"Yea, old man Wood don't pay no attention anymore. Not since his daughter left home. He sends all his good men out to protect her and leaves the p*****s to stand guard for the pack. Ha! We can be in and out before he even knows we was here!"
