Thalia's POV I'm currently perusing a survey conducted by my previous company over the possibility of developing a sequel to the film I made with my ex-girlfriend four years ago. They're asking fans if they want a sequel, and 98 percent responded affirmatively. I'm not sure if they're serious, but it's perfectly fine with me if we ever work together again. Although we're no longer close and it'll be difficult for both of us, I'm willing to give the fans what they want as a token of gratitude for their support and love over the last few years. Almost every break up is bad. If you're going to ask if we broke up that way, the answer is yes. She told me that she's tired of us, she felt like she was trapped in a cage and the only solution for her to break free is to end our relationship. I cannot say her decision was right, but she shone brighter and her career blossomed significantly without me. Did we get a closure after the break up? No, we didn't. I think filming the sequel is the best time to reconcile maybe as friends and talk about our past. Did she really get tired of us or does she have someone else that's why she left me? I just want to know exactly the reason why we broke up. We used to work for the same firm, but after we parted ways, I quit my contract and temporarily suspended my showbiz career. Although the film we made four years ago was not a hit, it became a trending topic last year due to a t****k post, and a lot of people have been talking about it since I returned to the spotlight and signed with a new company. Our fans are unaware that we once had something. Every time they ask us about that movie and how we filmed it, we just give them a simple but not so doubtful answer. "Thalia! Look at this." Jamine, one of my friends, talked. She is a senior colleague whom I met at FANCY Entertainment. "ONCE Entertainment created a poll and they are asking if—" "I already saw that" I cut her off and showed her my phone. "OMG! We're finally getting a sequel. Seriously, I adored that movie. I knew there would be a sequel because the ending left me hanging." She laughed as she slapped my arm. "Don't get too excited, they are just asking." "And you will finally kiss that pretty girl again. I swear, you two looked good together in that movie." She said. If she only knew about our past, she would undoubtedly flip out. "I can clearly remember the way you laced your fingers against her skin. It was so hot. f*****g hot, Thalia!" She stated and slaps my arms once more. "Will you please stop?" "I'm just excited, okay? Don't ruin the mood." She took a deep breath and sat in front of me. "If she agree to do the sequel, will you do the same way?" She asked. "Of course. It's a good project." I answered and she rejoiced. "I will super duper support it. Are you still in contact with Sienna?" She asked. Sienna Mitchell.. my ex. "No." "Why? The movie ended and so as your bond? I can't believe you two aren't friends." She said and I smiled. I don’t need to share anything about us now. "What?" She inquired carefully. "We're friends but we're not close anymore" I lied. I saw her expression deteriorated as she looks at me intently. "You're hiding something. I can feel it." "I'm not hiding anything. I believe you're simply exhausted from work." As I rose from my chair, I stated. "You should take a break." I left her and walked to the company's nearest coffee shop. I placed my drink order and took a seat alone on the ledge. While waiting for my order, I started to imagine how things will work while we're filming the movie sequel. One thing is certain: I simply want to be friends with her. Being with her for five years has been one of the highlights of my life, and the memories we shared will always be cherished. "How about a penny for your thoughts?" A gentleman approached and sat across from me. "Calyx, what are you doing here?" "There are a lot of people who are following me, which is why I chose to come here. Why are you alone?" He asked with a smile on his face. He is perpetually cheerful. "All I want to do is drink coffee alone." "Should I leave at this point?" He chuckles. "No, that is acceptable. You are welcome to stay." I assured him, hoping not to embarrass him. I was also cast alongside Calyx Sullivan in a film. Many people are shipping us, but we will never date because we both enjoy female company. "In any case. I heard you're going to collaborate again with Sienna." "How did you obtain that information?" I asked. I thanked the waiter for serving me my drink. "I am acquainted with someone from ONCE Entertainment. The producers of your previous film have decided to make a sequel in response to popular demand. They created the poll solely to ensure that a large number of people want it." He said as I continue to drink my coffee. So the company are really serious about it. "I think you should do the project, Thalia. It's a great opportunity for you to become more famous." Eunwoo suggested. "Yeah, sure" I mumbled and he pats my head. He looks outside the coffee shop to look if his stalkers are still there. He felt relief when they finally left. "I gotta go now.
