Chapter 4 - Sea Breeze Pack

Tara's P.O.V

After the Queen agreed to keep Arynn safe, I had to leave her there and return to my Pack. I knew I had to explain my self to my father and Alpha Jacob. I'm sure he knows I lied.

I quickly exit the cave, using the dark as my cover. I remain in wolf form and run down the hill towards home.

Approached the pack boarder, I sense a wolf near by. "oaf" I'm tackled before I can figure out who it is. Everything is dark for second, the wind was knocked out of me. Jumped to my feet and scan my surroundings. Sniffed the air again, tried to figure out who it is.

Then straight in front of me, I see him. Its a huge black wolf with dark grey eyes, my father Alpha Jacob in his wolf form, Midnight.

I sit and bow my head, knowing I did him wrong by lying.

"Tara, I am very disappointed in you. What were you thinking lying to me"? He growls.

Still looking down " I know Alpha Jacob, I'm sorry. But I swear I had good reason."

"You look at me when you are being spoken to child"! He demands.

Looked up at him and made eye contact.

"Daughter, I am disappointed you lied. But I also understand you must of had your reasons. The less I knew in that moment was better. Lets head to the pack house and chat in my office."

We head towards the house, two gammas come out with robes for us. We turn back to human form.

"We can change and meet in few minutes" Alpha Jacob tells me.

Quickly heading up to the fourth floor, we part ways to our rooms.

Moment later I knock on the Alphas Office door.

Alpha Jacobs P.O.V

After changing I head to my office and wait for my daughter Tara. Taking this moment to prepare my self for what trouble my daughter may have brought on this pack.

"Knock Knock"

"Come in child! Sit down lets talk."

She makes her self comfortable and begins to tell me about the rough female who is run away Luna. She tells me how she was abuse and harmed by her Alpha repeated. Weather it was verbal, physical abuse or the pain cause by infidelity. Such horrid things to do to your marked mate. I understood her reasoning for running. Only other way out, would have been death or talking to the Elders. But with out proof you could be risking your life., since it is nearly unheard of for mated wolfs to treat each other so poorly. Generally our connection wont allow it, once bonded we become intensely in love by both our human self's and wolfs.

Tara then goes on to tell me that she has hidden her friend Arynn in one of her unknown secret places that even I know nothing of. Tara has always had such an open kind heart with a gift for finding these places and for connecting to people or creatures, others could not.a

"Ok Tara. We will help your friend. I believe she deserves a life of peace."

Smiling " Thanking you father." Tara says jumping into a hug.

"I'll need to meet her, I'll get you to bring her here once I know I no longer need to worry about the trackers. I currently have two of our own keeping an eye on them. Tell me Tara, I need to know how long she has been here and how at home has she made her self."

"Yes father, She lives in the town, Avila Beach. She bought a small property just on the outskirts of town. She had just started to get out and meet the community when she met me."

"hmm ok, They will definitely have her sent tracked soon then."

Knowing that Avila is only 10 minutes away, the trackers should be able to pick up her sent easily if they are any good at their job. I take a moment to come up with a plan and send a mind link to check in with my guys watching the trackers to see what they are up too.

"Alpha sir, they haven't been too busy. Mainly just talking to locals, show a picture of her to see if anyone has seen her."

"Perfect Delta John, I have a plan. I need you to go to the Autumn pack men and tell them we may have something of use for them. Then wait for the next step"

" Yes Alpha sir, on it"!

Mean while I had already sent my Beta and a few hunters out to Arynn's land to make it appear as if she had made a run for it. Then had one of them bring back of piece of Arynn's clothing that smell of her, back here so we can make one of our gammas look like her and jump a plane to across the world. The gamma is to then take that scent with her away from the airport ditch it on a bus and make her way back home.

Moments later a Delta arrives with the clothing, Tara had just finished with her pink wig.

"Gamma Sara, you know the plan"?!

"I do sir, I wont let you down."

"Right, good. Now make sure to keep your head down. Report back when you return home."

"yes sir"

Gamma Sara heads to the Airport and I mind link to Delta John.

"Delta, inform Tracker Ryan and his men that we have received word of a rogue female, and her location. I will send you the address now. You are to take the men there now."

Delta Ryan informs the men.

"Great, lets go"! Tracker Ryan announces.

Tracker Ryan's P.O.V

Delta John, approaches us out of know where while we are out posing as police searching for a missing women. He tells us he may have some information we are interested in and to wait with him till he hears back from his Alpha. Which seems weird when he could have called us. I feel as though, they might have been keeping an eye on us. Understandably this is his territory. But something feels off.

Moments later, Alpha Jacob mind links his Delta. He informs us they have word of a rogue female and her location.

"Great, lets go"! I tell the Delta.

We all jump in our vehicles and follow the Delta to this location. About 15 minutes later, we pull into a long dirt driveway. I can immediately smell Arynn. Her smell is all over this place. I decide to mind link my Alpha.

"Alpha Trevor, sir. We have located Arynn's where a bouts. A home, she be living here. We just arrived and I will let you know what we find."

"About time you men find something, I am running out of time here. You need to find her now"! Alpha Trevor demands, he sounds weaker and less like an Alpha every day now. His wolf must still be refusing him. He's right he doesn't have much longer.

Once we park at her front door. I see there is a few more men of Alpha Jacob's is already here. I send my men out first then go and speak with Beta Tyler.

"Hunters and Deltas, spread out search her out. Her scent is strong here. Tell me what you find."

The men spread out in every direction into the house, around the house and to the barn.

"Beta Tyler, how nice of you to meat us here."

"Good afternoon, Tracker Ryan. We have come for confirmation. We want to know if this is the rogue you are searching for, and if it wasn't we wanted to make sure your men didn't touch anything or harm the wrong person."

"Ahh I see. Yes Beta. This is in fact the rouge Luna we are looking for. He scent is all over this place. I have a feeling your not telling me something, what is it? what have you found here?"

Just as the Beta was about to answer me, Gamma Jacklyn calls me.

" Jacklyn was is it"?

"I believe I just saw your missing Luna, I just got on shift, did a scan and she was seen here about 30min ago. She just took off on a plane to New York."

I hang up the phone and snap back to the Beta.

"DID YOU INFORM HER WE WERE COMING?" Now grabbing him by the collar of his shirt, screaming in his face.

"We did no a such thing" Pulling me off his shirt. Since he out ranks me he is stronger. I back down.

"Then how is it she has been seen at the L.A airport only 30 minutes ago, seems convenient"!

" I know nothing of that, could she have picked up your scent or have received word from someone that there are men looking for her and made a run for it maybe?!" Beta Tyler says to me confidently.

"I guess that is possible" Just then my men come from the house and say they found a letter to some humans from the Luna.

"We need to chase the Luna to New York."

My men get in our cars and head out to grab our things and head to the airport.
