Arynn's POV
I decide to trust Tara and tell her my story. She says she has somewhere near by that would be safe for me to hide for awhile.
We get dressed and collect all our things and walk back towards the cave.
Tara turns, looking like she's about to prepare me for something.
"Arynn, we have to go into this cave, and what your going to see is a secret not many know about, we try to keep it that way. We will need to go back to wolf form to get there but I promise you will be safe there".
We strip back down put all our things in our back packs and shift back to our wolf form. With our bags carried in our mouths, I follow her into the cave that we just napped in, only this time we venture much further in. It is very dark, if it weren't for my wolf vision I would be blind. The further in we go the colder it gets and the water under our feet starts to rise up and has reached my belly at this point. Starting to getting worried and nearly swimming now, I see a blueish light ahead of us. We come out to a large opening. There are fire flies everywhere and every surface is luminescent. Its not till we get closer I realize they aren't fire flies but fairies and the place we just arrived in is a whole tiny village. There's little homes everywhere and a small hole in the cave ceiling, that lets in some natural light from the current moon light. Moss covers their village ground with ferns, mushrooms, rockfoils and wood sorrels growing all around. It is so beautiful, I'm just in awe. I was so distracted by the view I didn't even notice the fairies approach Tara.
Tara POV
We just arrived at Crystal Village, a place of many fairies that not many know about. I have a collection of friends here and I knew they would help Arynn. She has a good heart, I believe whole heartedly that the moon goddess brought her to me to help her because I can. Fairy guards along with my friend Trina fly up to me. " What are you doing here with an unknown" the guards demand.
"I'm sorry, to show up here like this, but this is my friend Arynn and her wolf Alex. She needs help......." I go on and tell them her story so they understand the need.
Fairies are very caring creatures, but they don't like visitors from the unknown due to many visitors not being very kind to them. The fairies over history have faced many attacks from a various of different species, and have since been in hiding in many different caves across the world.
Trina approaches me " We know we can trust you Tara and wolf, but we will need to bring you and your friend to the Queen, present your story to her, it will be up to her if we will help your friend or not".
"I understand Trina".
Arynn and I follow the guard fairies and Trina to a beached area and are told to turn to our human forms and to wait for the queen there. Even the Queens Large castle like home is too small for us even in human form. Getting dressed I fill Arynn in on whats going on.
"Arynn, you will need to share your story once more with the Queen here, and I am confident that they will keep you safe till I
can be sure it will be ok for you to go back home".
Queen Hydrangea POV
Already seeing our visitors in the water from my castle home, I command the guards to approach them. Knowing one of the wolves is Trina's friend Tara. I ask Trina to join the guards and find out why she has come with an unknown.
Eventually they bring the wolves to the beached area, where they can get out of the cold water. I wait to hear what Trina has to say for her friend.
"Queen Hydrangea, Tara has come in request for help for her friend Arynn. Arynn has run from her Alpha for abuse. According to Tara there is pack members here tracking Arynn to bring her pack".
"Hmm, I see. I will come discuss with this Arynn girl and hear her story". We fly over to the beach area and approach the two women.
" Hello Tara, I am not pleased you brought an unknown and possible threat to my village, but I am willing to hear her out".
"I apologize Queen, but would never have brought her here if I didn't think she was worth helping". Tara tells me.
Seeing the women Arynn is nervous, I make eye contact with her.
"I am Queen Hydrangea of Crystal Village. We don't like visitors for many reason. One being is they always seem to want to destroy us".
Arynn takes a deep breath begins to tell me her story.
After hearing Arynn's story I know Tara is right and she deserves the help. I am reluctant though, in fear of my peoples safety. knowing that helping her could bring more unwanted visitors here.
"Arynn I will allow you to stay here for now, But I expect you Tara, to keep us informed!"
"Yes Queen, Thank you"!
Both Tara and Arynn agree.
Arynn's P.O.V
After Tara leaves me here in fairy land, The Queen gives me permission to explore. Of course being so much larger then everything, this makes things difficult. I decide to wait for morning and see what everything looks like ones the sunlight comes thru their little ceiling whole in the cave.
After laying sitting in the sand for a while, Trina comes over.
"The Queen told me to come take you to Tara's space, Where she usually stays when she comes and visits"
I smile at her and she guides me to the back of the beach where there is a larger door with a tiny door in it, that kinda blends into the caves rock wall. Inside was dark, Trina flies ahead of me and ignites this candle, then one by one several candles in the room ignite on their own.
In awe " how did you do that"? I ask Trina.
"These candles are enchanted, ignite one and they all ignite, blow one out and they all will. They will never burn out and they will keep your space warm." Trina explains.
"That's amazing" I tell her. Now looking around, I see the room is well decorated. As if Tara has spent alot of time here and has brought a lot of things with her, to make this space a cozy as it is.
The room had a bed and shelves carved into the rock, but has been decorated with many colorful fabrics, tapestries, blankets and pillows. It was very boho inspired and beautiful.
"Well make your self comfy, get some rest. I will bring you some food in the morning" Trina says as she turns and leaves out the tiny door.
"Thank you", I call after her.
Day comes and I managed to have a good nights rest.
