Ella was in denial as Carlos walked away. She tried calling him to come back to her but he turned on a deaf ear. He didn't want anything to do with her.
Ella started shaking thanks to the cold and this forced her to cover up.
Tears were stinging from her eyes and she did not have the ability to hold back. She continued crying bitterly hoping that the pain and the bitterness would go away.
She was so sure that Carlos loved her but it turns out that she was wrong about him. He really didn't care about her as much as she thought that he did.
There was only one thing left for her to do. Either to take his word for it and let him go or the other which is to keep trying to win him. Or, there is also this other option which is to go back and continue her miserable life with Z
